    This is how it's going to play out.

    Draw down of roughly 25-45% of forces from early 2008 to the end of the calendar year. There will then be an additional draw down in the following year to about 50,000 troops that will remain as the back bone to the government. That 50,000 +/- will not be withdrawn regardless of who is president in 2009. That force will remain for a couple of years, depending on the situation on the ground.

    And all of this is followed up by a pix of Cheney on an aircraft carrier in the gulf, calling out Iran.. on and on and on and on and on... keep rattling those sabres.

    Well, from his point of view anyway. I'll post part of a response to another thread here since it seems pretty germaine;

    .

    Winnng Dirty.......... I suppose is still winning so perhaps there is some merit to it. But lets not kid ourselves, it would be a friggen bloodbath. What's a few million sunni's though :rolleyes:

    It's not as simple as we'd like it all to be, sadly.

    We did the right thing in getting rid of Saddam and his Retarded Demented sons, we believed Saddam had weapons that were a threat to the rest of the world (our back stabbing democrats believed this also) but Saddam out foxed us, He Got Rid Of Them.

    We made a big mistake in staying there and trying to help those f-cking stone age people, their women like being abused and they enjoy killing each other, they have been doing it for thousands of years we should now leave and let the rest of the world sit back and watch as they go about riding their donkeys, abusing their women and cutting each others arms and legs off, those smelly bastards are not worth one more American Life.

    Leave and let them slaughter each other not our young men and women.

    Don't let those sneaky bastard democrats start another war in Dafur, NO MORE WAR.

    Send an e-mail to Kennedy/Kerry'Clinton and ask them for a link, they were the ones that were yelling "Saddam Has To Go".

    But, here's one from the most biased liberal sore losing bush hating news outlet in America CBS.

    Um Harry Boy, you make yourself look pretty, um well, retarded when you post something from the Christian Broadcast Network and claim it to be CBS.

    As for the article itself, it doesn't provide much other than heresay. But you knew that. ;)

    Now here...have some smartening bricks.:bricks:

    You mean you didn't read the article provided? The one from the liberal Christian Broadcast Network. That shining beacon of journalism that is undated, references noone in particular, credits no specific sources, and relies completely on heresay?

    This is where some get their "news". wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more
