The Iranian knew a sympathetic guy who would write a favorable stroy and only ask softball questions.

In that link it says that Wallace was semi-retired.
I think his mind might be fully retired, though.
Still, maybe it could be worth our while to try to establish some kind of diplomatic relations with Iran.
Of course when I say diplomacy I don't mean appeasement.

Talking with the Iranian leader is a good thing, GWB and his crew should try this before we send in the young men and women or start rattling sabers...

Ha, ha, ha,ha! You're kidding, right? Why would those morons do the right thing and try diplomacy now? What makes anyone think they are even capable of it, much less want to try it, is beyond me.

    Good one, though!

I was not aware we tried anything diplomatic or talking to them?? All I was aware of was mandates and threats which IMO do absolutely no good.

I was talking about Bush and his pasty-faced wierdos - not the Iranians.

Try reading one of his speeches and get back to us on what we should talk to him about.

So, because his speeches are anti-USrael, we shouldn't try diplomacy before we attack them and risk more American lives so that Hezbollah won't be able to hurt Israel anymore? (spin intended)

No, just kill and ask questions later, that is the proven way to win, not only on the battlefield, but also in minds and hearts:)

Yeah I know. He claims to not be not anti semite then in the same breath he makes a statement to the effect of "...assuming the holocaust did happen."
And there's the back peddling "..No. When we say wipe them off the map we mean relocate them. Relocate them to Germany because they're the ons who caused the holocaust.
But still, if this guy wants to open dialogue then maybe we shpuld oblige.
    Again though, diplomacy. Not appeasement.
Compromise, maybe. Israel is not relocating anywhere.
Don't even know why Iran should care about a country that is so far away from them.

Iran is worried that Israel will bomb their Nuke research facilities like they did in Iraq. It is a definite possibility since Israel has been able to confirm the Americans' tacit approval of virtually anything they do. Most countries in the region make no distinction between Israel and the US, and neither do I.

Is that it? Seems to me good diplomacy should iron out such concerns.
I believe Iran has been rattling it's sabres at Israel long before they got into nuke research.
Since the Iranian leader seems to want to come across as not an anti-semite, then it would be a good start for discussion.

They should send Ann Coulter over to Iran to interview the smelly bastard. Mike Wallace is a dried up old liberal fool.

Mike Wallace's claim to fame is "Exposing" some sleezy little guy that is over charging the public for bags of peanuts in a local Bowling Alley.

    Wallace is a "Professional Rat"
