I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen.
An attack on Iran would be political suicide for the republicans if not Bush.

    Agreed!

I'm hoping that cooler heads will prevail. But this administration has a way of F-ing up on a regular basis.

I didn't vote because the choice I was looking for wasn't there.

Nuke Iran and build a parking lot. :D (kidding)

Of note though, it takes both sides to achieve peace. All the diplomacy in the world means didly if one side is unwilling to compromise.

Amen, brother. FWIW, IMHO, I've been predicting for years that there will be an Israeli or joint Israeli-American assault on Iran's nuclear infrastructure (much like the Israeli assult on Osirak of 25+ years ago). I stand by my prediction, but do not think it will escalate to all out war.

The predictions are for 6 April... however, truly hope not, as bad as things are and as stretched as our armed forces are and the increasing debt.. this will make things worse geometrically. Not sure if we have the will as an American to back this undertaking, and all it will do is divide this country more.. but OTOH the investor class will do ok as their stocks will continue to skyrocket.
