As I'm sitting through a 3 day seminar, I got a copy of the Sporting News to kill the boredom.

Three things that they brought up that I thought was interesting.

1.Scott Pioli is listed as the #1 guy to turn around a bad franchise. No rumor that he's going anywhere.

    2. Seattle is not very happy with Jeremy Stevens either on or off the field. They could be a candidate to go after Graham.

    3. Baltimore's Thomas is a prime FA. But, his backup Jarret Johnson is also a FA and has filled in very well for Thomas and Ray Lewis. Johnson "tough, smart, and doesn't make mistakes"?

Could this be the next Mike Vrable for us? Here's a link on Johnson.

Seattle supposedly wanted Graham back when Graham and Stevens were drafted. Hopefully we can re-sign him. Screw Seattle.

Lets trade them Watson for their 2008 1st round pick and then sign Graham.

SIGN THEM BOTH ON DAY 1 OF FREE AGENCY PLEASE. Talk about and instant LB fix. Johnson sounds like a younger Vrabel doesn't he?

yeah there is no need to type this that big. Just type a normal size so you don't take up so much space.. It is annoying when you try to read the thread.

I know you are trying to get as much attention as possible and be the "edgy" and "outspoken" pats fan , but next time please type it smaller.

    thanks...

(you can see how annoying it is by looking at my post quoting yours.)

Keegs! You're one to talk? Shut the hell up please. I personally liked it. Made me laugh. Atleast someone here is showing their enthusiasm.

that's not necessary... we don't need to add to this.

You don't need to be "that guy" that calls me out..

Everyone here has read it before.

I never type in font that big...
And if that makes you laugh, then you have the worst sense of humor that i have ever come across.

So many to sign on Day 1 of Free Agency... so little time.

And more importantly... so little money.

If it were that easy, don't you think everybody would be making runs at every name player that hit the market? (Spiking their prices dramatically, by the way?)

Maybe we should preface every mention of the $26M left with "only" every time it is mentioned. But on second thought, that would bring the chicken littles out of the woodwork....

First of all, I wasnt calling you out. Just merely bringing something to your attention. Secondly, coming from you, I am glad you dont understand my humor. So, finally. I did add that. The whole thread was going fine until you bombarded it with a pansy ass complaint over something ridiculous and stupid. God forbid you have to see large font on one post. But then again, I am continuing the thrashing of this nice thread by continuing this, so I guess that doesn't make me much better now does it? Back to our regularly scheduled program.

I agree. However, did the chicken littles ever really go away?
I am so stoked about the 2007 season. We are so close, and so few key players away from continuing the consistent standard that has made us the elite of the NFL. Though I may not be happy with alot of their decisions, I trust Belioli will do what is right for the long term success of this ball club.
We truly are lucky, because I don't know how many other fans around the league can say that, and mean it.

well calling me out is exactly what you did.
And Actually the sense of humor is yours... the humor was The Predator's...

And i still don't see what is funny about his post.. he said that we need to sign 2 linebackers really soon and for some unknown reason, you think it's comedy club material because he wrote it with big letters.

I didn't bombard anything. I made a comment (and said "please") which actually offered to improve the thread by keeping the pages down.

The Predator thinks if he writes with a larger font, more people will read it and he'll get more attention.. I wanted to skip that step and keep it smaller which keeps the pages down in the thread.

Also, if it was up to God i bet he would forbid font that big when it is not necessary.. He/she just has other things to take care of.

The NFL has become a 12 month sport, thus we now know of the first day of free agency, on and on.. it is good, but not all that significant for this team.. they will let the dust settle, unless there is someone out there they really believe will help this team immediately. I expect to see some very mediocre players signing for big money, remind you of baseball, if the pats were to do this it would throw out the salary structure of this team. There will be those who will see this and start doomsday threads, have faith folks these guys know what they are doing.

Stevens has been very inconsistent and has major off the field problems. Graham is right where he needs to be.

I've been mentioning Jarrett Johnson for the past 2-3 weeks when those thoughts about him were on Yahoo!Sports. I did catch a couple games with him and he looks like a 3 down LB who could easily start next to Bruschi next season. Adalius Thomas would be a much BETTER signing than TBC and Thomas would give the Patriots plenty of LB depth and make it so they wouldn't have to bring back Seau.

Now, the ONLY problem that I see with this is that Johnson needs to start, imho.

If the Pats signed those two AND drafted an ILB and OLB in the draft, then this defense would be well on its way to being over-hauled.
