IndyStar board feeling Patriots fans heat

It would be great if there was a board where evryone posted reasonable, rational, objective comments and all respected each other. As far as I know there isn't obe like that. I don't go to others teams boards, even to look, and usually don't pay attention to other teams fans here. That's just me, and I don't expect others to dothe same and support others rights to do what they want.

If you're really like that, you should run for office! You'd get my vote!

I'm on IndyStar too, I have the same name there as here, I have the same name every where I go, (I don't hide behind multiple ID's and that way I can be called out for any inconsistencies)

I have to agree with Pats1, most of the Pats threads are started by Colt fans and designed to inflame Pat fans. They scour the internet looking for anything that disparages the Patriots. They constantly bait Patriots fans, then complain when any Patriot fans dare to refute those claims, they call them trolls. They made the board they way it is, but blame us.

I found that board back when the Boston Herald had a site, before they canned it, and there was a lot of Colt fans from Indystar there. So before I found this site I lurked there and sometimes posted. I still visit from time to time, and I find it really amusing, some of the things they say are so fare out there I laugh out loud.

As a person who has had his Patriots fandom questioned NOT by fans of other teams but by other Patriots fans for posting what I believe and what have been proven to be reasonable, rational and objective comments - MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY.

I was done posting here, until I saw that thread on IndyStar.com, thanks.

But wow, I came on here and got called every name in the book, put guys on ignore, and finally swore never to post here again after the attacks kept coming, even after joking/participating in the Indy women from pictures on from some bar/are nasty thread that stayed on the main board forever.

I was told point blank you can't come on here and expect the rules for the visiting fans to be the same as for the Pats fan, because its a Pats board, but come on, calling guys Moron and female anatomy parts, just stupid stuff, not even clever.

My whole thing was ya its okay to allow whatever for Patsfans, I guess, on a Pats board, but don't say other fans are welcome. I would have never registered.

I hurt Shmessy's feeling early on, I thought, when she, what I thought was antagonizing me, by saying eat your heart out and saying they didn't lose a draft pick, she called me a troll and gave me a demerit or what ever it is.

I mean whatever I say won't matter I'll be told to leave because I'm a troll even if it has nice intentions, but it was sad I came on here to see a Pats fan perspective and enjoy a rivalry, but nothing I can say to make anyone believe that.

So to the fans that I did have some fun goofing with, good luck it really is awesome to watch the Pats dismantle people in hopes the Colts get another shot at them and to watch history whatever the outcome, either way.

Look at my posts, feel free, maybe a couple of things I said from frustration, but I swear it was reactionary.

Personally, I don't give a **** what Colt's fans think or feel. Nor will I visit the link to see what all the "hub bub" is all about. I don't feel the need to visit their board, and I wish they didn't feel the need to visit here.

I'll worry about the Colts, IF and WHEN we meet them again.

Wow I can't believe alot of them here agree, I guess the Pats fans on this site are alot more level headed then the ones on our site all the time, don't get me wrong we have a few posters that are Pats fans that do have alot to add to the board, I wish Boston Tim would come back.

Speed, I have been on quite a few boards and this is one of the best. Sorry. If you said what you just did on indystar you would be banned. Couple of real good boards, 49niners and Skins. Go check them out.

Do what I did, I quit going to indystar, stopped posting and stopped listening to what anyone on that board has to say. Quite simple. It is so easy.

I'm usually a "live and let live" person, but I totally disagree with anyone that feels sorry for anyone on IndyStar.

Let's see, 12,252 posts on how Brady is gay. Let's see, 12,252 posts on how we stink. Let's see, 12,252 posts on how they are the moral standard in football. On and on and on. Nasty folks. Name the negative, it was there.

These people (not all) have been flat out mean for at least two years. MEAN. And almost all of the posts they are talking about are started by COLTS fans.

Now, their team is not so good, and sure enough, their problems are because of us. Oh, get over it already.

I stopped going to that moron site about 6 months ago.

Try colts.com if you want to talk to some intelligent Colt fans.

And yes, the mods actually encouraged the nonsense that goes on at indystar. Oh, boo hoo.

And just a last thought, I went on that site and read some really good posts from Pats fans. Really good, nothing negative -- otherwise you were banned right away. I posted there for a while, and found one of my post altered by a mod. I was so shocked I immediately got off the board, tried to cancel my account. Yikes, how about mods altering your comments. And believe me, I was never negative.

Indystar in trouble, well just make my day.

I agree with your opinion 100%. There is nothing wrong with presenting a different point of view or, as is the case with Patriots fans who visit other sites, defending the honor of your team.

Anyone like the Eagles fan last night who came here to post pornography and post blatantly vulgar & violent comments is absolutely unaccesptable.

That's the blessing of having the ignore feature. In fact, over half the people I've got on ignore are Colts fans, because they are the worst trolls in the league. It's why this thread is good for giggles, as I see the primary culprits of Trolldom complaining when someone else returns the favor.

You know there is a statement, you can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can never fool all of the people all of the time.

I know exactly what went on at indystar. I used to read it every day because I watch the stocks everyday and used to go read and post on occassion. You are not fooling me. You folks are flat out nasty.

I have not been on that site for months until this post came out. So I went and looked. Now you seem very docile. You know why??? Every smart Pat fan left. Tell me where are the Brady is gay posts??? There used to be at least 5 a day. Where are they???

Guess when you only have yourselves to talk to it gets boring. It is what it is.
