I continue to see this all over the internet, and its not just sadly delusional Colts fans. This has been widely repeated in the media. Article 19 Section 1A of the CBA clearly states that players with 5 or more Accrued Seasons shall become a UFA. It also states that in a capped year, players with 4 or more seasons become UFAs. The section on RFAs agrees with this. Is there any reason to believe that players with five accrued seasons will not become UFAs in an uncapped year? If not, why doesn't the media take a hammer to its collective head, and get this right?
