Right now Buchholz(2-3) is looking awful, and I feel he needs a brief stint in the minors to get his feet back underneath him. Like tonight for example he went 4 1/3 giving up 7 earned while walking 5. The anouncer tonight was commenting on how when he walked back to the mound it looked like he was in deep thought, and he was probably in a battle verse himself instead of just pitching.

With Colon pitching the way he is in AAA right now, and hitting high 90's on his fastball maybe we should switch the two out, at least for a little while and see how it works out.

This would be a good move. Right now Buchholz is in over his head.

Yesterday he was spinning and falling off the mound on every pitch, and he dropped his shoulder way low to the ground, so this caused all his pitches to stay high. Almost all of his curveballs were at the top of the strike zone which is never good.

Would be a great move.....I'm glad someone started a topic about it
