If that's how it works I like it better. It begs the question though, why would Seattle trade a guy on the books for a hefty SB and get nothing from him at all? I'd like to see his contract and see how it reads in actual salary versus fake years. But if you're right about the Hawks being responsible for the SB, just doesn't seem realistic any team would do this.
