It was all me, mofos. I changed from the NFLN gamecast to the CBS gamecast and viola.. Manning goes 20 yards backwards and gets sacked. The beginning of the end for NY.

Sorry guys, today was the first time I wore my patriots tie to work on game day. When the patriots went down 12, all the people at work were ribbing me, (i work in a casino) so I finally yanked it off and stuffed it in my pocket for the rest of the shift. and went to the sports book to finish watching the game. I don't know why I did it, I never wore patriots gear to work on game day before, I won't do that again.

:nono:

We all have a lot to learn.

I still feel guilty about costing the Pats another SB last year when I went upstairs with the Pats leading by 18 points on the Colts and pulled out my "berry the bears" T-shirt from 1985. I single-handedly lost the Patriots a 4th SB (sorry).

Actually my wife is the key to all Boston sports. When the Sox were winning Game 7 in the 2003 ALCS she left the house to go for a walk and all hell broke loose. The next year I made her sit with me the whole time.

This game she was with me until she went out shopping with my Mom and her sister at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. All hell broke loose. They got home halfway through the 3rd quarter with the score 28-16. After that she sat on the couch next to me until the end of the game. She wanted to leave early (we came in separate cars because she was out all day with her sister who is visiting) and I made her stay on that couch and would not let her go home until the game was over.

You all owe me big time. She is the ultimate Boston sports charm.

IT'S THE HAT....NOBODY beats the hat...Giants are all done

the HAT...as predicted BEFORE the game began

When the Pats went down 28-16, I swithched from the bedroom to the living room and from cbs to nbc. After that the Pats dominated. You're Welcome everybody!! :D

In all seriousness, how many people were doing the same kinds of things throughout the game? Be honest.
Holy ****! I changed from CBS to NBC when they went up by that score as well. :D

I took a dump whose timing in correlation to the team coming alive was uncanny so you can thank my bowels.

You still have that? I burned mine during the 3rd quarter of that game. and I never got another "pre-game" type shirt again

I think we have all learned something.. Anything but the effin NFL Network!

YOU ALL and my brother in law would all get along fine....he refuses to watch any Pats game live because he knows if he watches they will lose. So he tapes them and watches them when he will not jinx them.

Yeah i too put on my Pats gear after they fell behind and yes i changed channels a couple of times and no i am not superstitious......well not as superstitious as my brother in law at least.

Your brother tune in during the 2nd half of the AFCCG last year?! :enranged:

I was watching the game at a friends house across the street instead of my usual place (home). When they went down by 12 points I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I wasn't wearing my Jersey also. Once I got home the Pats started their comeback. I was going to put my Jersey on too, but the change of location seemed enough to help the Pats win the game.

My wife for one. I should hook you up.

PS Is your wife hot?

I'm not sure what is stupider.... Jinxing the team by pulling out a loser t-shirt, or still having that loser t-shirt after 21 years.
