It's on the taxpayer dime too. Your hard earn dollars hard at work. Who says the stimulus isn't working.

I wonder how many jobs were created/saved in this program.

I have no problem with the "do gooder" nature of the project. The taxpayer funding might be a little over the top and jerks my chain. It's not like we have NO END of resources for this kinda stuff. Besides, if we're gonna spend money helping them get over, just open the borders completely and then no one has to worry about sneaking in and dying of thirst, right? :confused2:

Most Americans feel illegal aliens should get ZERO American tax dollars. But who really cares what we think?

The government has no plans on stopping the illegal alien invasion.

We Are Being Colonized!—The Secret Illuminati Project to Flood the United States with 100,000,000 More Illegal Aliens: Under a Masonic project sponsored by the Rothschilds and Zionist groups, the United States will be flooded with 100,000,000 more illegal aliens. A recent survey calculated the current number of illegal aliens in the United States at 25 to 30 million, with many of them voting for liberal legislators and a President who will give them free healthcare, housing, welfare, and Social Security. Will President Obama grant amnesty to the illegal population so they can receive Obamacare?

Evidence is presented that the United States is intentionally being "leveled" and brought down economically. The illuminists' goal is to diminish and transform America into a Third World nation, driving down workers' wages, destroying the dollar currency, drastically increasing taxes, bottling up our oil and gas by not drilling new wells, and through other economic warfare. After this financial and social crushing of America, it is believed the once proud U.S. citizenry will become so desperate and so impoverished they will sell their birthright and heritage for the few crumbs of wealth that remain. The end-objective of the Illuminati Plan is that a broken U.S.A. will be useful only as a dumping ground for illegal aliens and as a resource for the elite to access when military mercenaries are needed to bleed and die in foreign conflicts.

Perhaps I missed something, but read it twice cannot see where the stimulus program is aiding this.... is there another thread?? Or hyperbole and hysteria once again..

What I can never understand is the situational value that the right places on life..anti abortion, anti euthanasia, anti anything to do with death... pro allowing illegals to die in the desert...

Folks need to wake up and realize that the previous administration and this administration really do not want to do anything of substance about this issue, as it is functional and fuels our country's addiction to cheap labor.

Once again, this isn't a left/right issue...... It's taking money from the government (and the people), to be used for a program that ultimately is designed for the benifit of those violating a regulation set by that same goverment. You don't see the irony in that?

It's like me buying condoms for my neighbor, so that he can bang my wife behid my back.

Your parallel stinks and makes no sense, the outrage is situational about how the government wastes its money... how many defense contractor overruns have there been and you have chosen silence, Haliburton built housing in Iraq for our soldiers and some were killed do to the faulty wiring, Haliburton over charged for oil, they also gave our soldiers bad water and spoiled food. A defense contractor in North Dakota was given a contract for new helmets for 74,000,000..they were defective, and were fined 2,000,000.. chump change for this company..

If you want to have some fun google defense contractor fraud, your situational outrage is noted.. it has been and is so far out of control, the numbers are beyond comprehension... and yet their is outrage over people trying to keep illegals from dying in the desert...

If you are so concerned about taking money from the people you might want to watch this site:

Stop with your moral relevance.................... This is not a post about defense contracting................ It's a post about using taxpayer money to fund a program that assist people in violating US immigration laws.

If I wanted to talk about Haliburton and wasteful defense spending, I would have started a thread on that topic. STOP hijacking thread to boost your own agenda. This thread already has a topic.

I boost this agenda to point out the hypocrisy of the situational outrage of people concerned about the sanctity of human life, all the while there is ignorance and silence about the real raping of the american people... the defense contractor fraud in this country always has been and is beyond control....

If people were really concerned about the taxpayer getting ripped off, which they really are not, they would start here...

You made an initial claim that stimulus money was being used for this endeavor, have yet to see that validated.. could it be more hysteria and hyperbole???

Then start your own thread called "Situational outrage and you: what everyone needs to know about defense contracting".

It's probably not..... Could be, it doesn't matter......... Still, its a prgram that is being funded by taxpayer money. That is the main point

So I guess an admission about hyperbole, half truths and lies by a person who posts this situational outrage is about as good as it is gonna get, this is going to be a good day. Keep ignoring the "real" raping of the american people, kind of like peek a boo.. if you do not see it it does not exist.

Small point - it's not a "program," it's a GPS system that three visual artists on UCSD’s faculty and an English professor at the University of Michigan are working on. They're using $15,000 raised from a UCSD grant and an art festival award to do so. If they succeed, they plan on handing the phones out from free.

The title of this thread is, (oh the horror!!!") misleading, to say the least. There is no 1-800 number, there is not going to be a 1-800 number and outside of the initial $!5,000 combined University of California STATE grant and an art award, there is no government money involved.

If Haliburton or Xe do not defraud the government out of $15,000 each and every day, heads will roll..

HOO-RAH...After all Darryl, it is all about the cha-ching.

I'll be 51 in a month and I want to retire before I'm too old to do anything. I was making under $30K up until 12 years ago. I'm way behind where I should be. I also invest in Vegas casino's through my uncle Vinnie the Skinny....

Good for you, there is a whole movement about responsible investing.. not situational. If I owned stock in Xe or Haliburton would not be able to sleep at night..
