Very difficult poll for most of us.
(easy question for me w/o names Now, make it santorum wins, or one of the other jokers re-enters the race, and there's some soul-searching to be done.)
Brave of you to answer, Chico. I'm still struggling with this one.
This was very easy for me, it's the Patriots!
No matter who is President, nothing is really going to change.
As long as the president has to answer to the corporatists and oligarchs, nothing will change..
So the Pats winning the SB is my vote.
The question is...what Republican or Libertarian? I don't want someone to win based on party, I want them to win based on the issues.
Okay, I joined the pack, but man, President Gingrich? Ewwww.
I love the Patriots, and hope they win the SB, but the future of the country is much more important imo. A libertarian would probably offer the only real shot at changing the status quo. I don't see a dem or repub in this race that will alter the current course much. One of them might do a better job of postponing the inevitable, more so than another, but none offer any of the much needed changes we genuinely need.
Seeing how I'm getting my tailgate stuff together, marinating the meat and prepping the car for the 3 hour trip I had to vote for the Pats Superbowl. Not that tomorrow is Superbowl eve but election eve would probably poll a lot differently.
I voted libertarian, i would hope a libertarian runs against him but I will vote for whoever runs against him, foolishness elected Obam in the first place, he's a socialist poster boy experiment gone haywire I think the people have learned their lesson.
The only issue I have with taking the libertarian is whether it would matter at all. There would be value in continuing to change the debate, but I don't know how much that's worth.
btw, as with other labels, you need to decide what it really means. A true libertarian is going to pack things up in terms of military abroad. Something you'd label anti-semitism were it a dem, Harry. Of course you'd be wrong, but that's never stopped you before. And some libertarians would open the borders, which I don't think anybody here supports.
I know, I don't agree with everything that is libetarian.
Not to hard really ... I think Obama is going to win anyways and I'm not sure that's where the problem is anyways ... it's in Congress. You know he is supposed to have a speech this week where he streamlines some federal regulations to enhance business and boost the middle class which should boost tax income. that's a huge area where we can help ourselves ... businesses are way over regulated and it makes it hard to compete with foreign companies.
Couldn't agree more PFiEL. No president, given the way the system currently works will ever change anything. Our government works for themselves and those who pay them (and I dont think we have any big time donors/lobbyists on the board).
Pats Superbowl win 6 days a week and twice on Sunday.
Is he going to be able to do anything about state and local regs? For smaller businesses, anyway, that's what really matters.
i live in Rhode Island ... whatever he does my state will find a way to tax it.:bricks:
My first post ever in the political forum, is this serious? Who cares about the future of America...
