Interesting point; I think we'll see more trades, but not an extraordinary number.
 
Nick Kaczur, Shawn Springs, James Sanders, Laurence Maroney all have value in a trade. They are safer and cheaper for a team to acquire than a free agent since no signing bonus money is at risk. Please note, if there is no 2011 season signing bonuses are a sunk cost.

Every team has such a list. In a uncapped year, why buy free agents when you can trade contracts at much lower risk. What overpriced receiver could we swap Adalius Thomas contract for?

Low revenue teams will want to shed salary since they are no longer obligated to keep to the cap minimum. Teams that historically push against the cap will want to shed possible future signing bonus obligations. New coaches, new systems all with a win now mandate. It's a perfect storm of needs and it should overwhelm the NFL historical resistance of trading players...I think.
