Be specific, please. Almost all the owners and Goodell against us. Assassination? What would be your plan?

What makes you think Bob has the fight in him? What makes you think the other owners would do that? They love Goodell. He punishes the best team in the league knocking them back to the pack and takes all the PR pressure off of their teams. It's over and the good guys didn't bother showing up.

If the only way to allow the facts to be determined in order to produce a result based on the actual events is to go against the owners, then there is a major collusion case.....watch, I think the thing that people are talking about the least is the damage a protracted appeal process by Brady as well as a defamation lawsuit can inflict.

the moment you hear anything about the suspension being dropped, you know the league is trying to hide some ghosts

You can't get rid of Goodell if he is popular. You can't make him unpopular by publicly supporting him.

You simply tell the owners Goodell is incompetent and he has created another scandal. His decisions have been repeatedly turned over by the courts and will be again. He has strained the relationship with the players to the point that the players will opt out of the CBA and will be combative at all negotiations. I am asking for you to vote him out. If not I will use all the legal resources I have available to right this wrong. I will support Brady completely in his fight which the NFL will most assuredly lose again. And I will not publicly support Goodell and will encourage my players to do only the minimum media interactions.

And if they still keep their Goodell, oh well. At least he tried, he's out nothing. What are they gonna do, make up a crime to charge him with? They already do that.

put a bomb in the building, close the door and force them to read the wells report and the rebutal.

Bob doesn't have it in him. He needs to publicly hand the torch to Jonathan.

Anybody that thinks Kraft is wiling, able or interested in getting rid of Goodell is dreaming. Kraft couldn't influence a light bulb into a socket in that group. He is the perpetual whipping boy who just wants to get along and takes all the abuse and ridicule the group gives him in a futile attempt to be liked.

I've said it before. Kidnap, and deposit into downtown Ramadi with an I hate ISIS sign hung around his neck.
For insurance have one of those cheesy t-shirts made with a caricature of the prophet Muhammed on the front and an American flag on the back and make him wear it.

I somehow, based on his career, think he's a better negotiator/persuader than that. I know everyone's pissed, but you don't think he's been around the block on contentious business deals? By 27 he started to turn a local box company into the latgest paper products company in the world.

Hate on the guy, but don't doubt his ability to maneuver behind the scenes in business. I'm sure he's ambushed tougher game than Goodell on his way to 4 billion.

I guess it's easy to make 4 billion dollars in the paper products business when you are a dummy and a pushover.

Hijack every owner's Viagra prescription.

Take pictures of jerry in his party bus with blandino and Christie.

Follow Irsay and call 911 as soon as he DUI.

The fact that he was good in the paper business with his late wife's money has no bearing on his standing in the NFL owner's fraternity. If he had even as much influence as the owner of the Jets, he would be fined $100K and the case would have been closed. Instead he gets the largest fine and penalty ever issued,. I hate to think how bad the fine and loss of draft picks would be if he wasn't such a highly respected and influential owner LOL

So basically you are going with he's a billionaire so every decision he makes is brilliant.

The premise is flawed from the get go. If Kraft goes against the owners? What owners? The ones who want to keep Goodell or the ones that don't?

If he supports the owners who want to get rid of Goodell he may be able to sway a few more. If he supports the ones who want to keep Goodell he may be able to sway more that way. He threw his public support behind Goodell, reinforcing Goodell just as he did in 2007. Just as in 2007 Goodell will likely remain.

Goodell may remain regardless but I fail to understand the tortured logic that somehow supporting Goodell will lead to less support for Goodell.

just for reference, brady and giselle have a combined net worth of $450M......and they did by looking good and making us happy

We've been conned into believing Kraft is held in any regard. The Rooneys own TWO teams within their families. Now that it's been exposed, Bend over Bob has been shown to be what he is. The annoying kid in class that never gets to ride in the back of the bus.

The only reason anyone knows is name is because of Brady and BB. That has become abundantly clear.

I can buy the theory - Kraft is told by his fellow owners that publicly fighting Goodell and the league office is bad for the league, as they want to show solidarity. Kraft backs off and proclaims his solidarity to the public. Behind the scenes, though, Kraft and his allies work to sway the unconvinced that Goodell must go. A couple months later, a vote is held and Goodell is removed from office. Kraft gives the crowd a wink and a nod and reminds us all of his real influence.

I just don't think this is very likely to happen.

If he was with the jets, we'd not only win every Super Bowl, but goodie would award us draft picks from other teams every year.

Also, I don't think there was a billion dollar local box company in Worcester when Kraft took control witch a leveraged buyout when he was 27 and merged it with his own start up to eventually have the largest private packaging company in the states.

You might want to check the scale of dad in laws company compared to kraft's.

I don't think it was the other owners. He's got lawyers and advisors by the score, I'm sure. and, unfortunately, I don't think it will only take a few months either.

Jonathan Kraft has been quoted as saying the punishment is awful, but an appeal is futile. As much as i hate goodell, I was amazed at this fiasco and more amazed as it went along. Obviously,Kraft got blindsided too. Brady got blindsided for that matter, he was laughing about it.

I think Brady and the union are far and away the best to fight the league and the team may have more options later. Futile appeal, as Jonathan said? Seems counterproductive. No real process and no sympathy for an owner or team.
