if BB were to be suspended by Goodell, who would then be the interim coach. Scarnecchia? McDaniels? Pees? this would be a very interesting thing to watch if BB were to be suspended. I would say no to Scarnecchia just simply because I dont think he wants that responsibility. I could be wrong however. My best guess would be McDaniels. But Scarnecchia is the only Asst. HC, so he might be interim by default.

I would say Pees. He is the only assistant with head coaching experience. Also, there has been rumblings that he has been groomed as Belichick's eventual replacement.

    Scarnecchia.

Leave Pees with the D and McDaniels with the O.

I was thinking Peas but it could be Dante. I hope it doesn't come to that.

Scarnecchia ran practices, but never coached the games though. As assistant head coach, I think he runs the practice at times anyway. I still think Pees would get the in game responsibilities.

BB won't get suspended unless Kraft wants him to be..........

perhaps a tolken 1 gamer (doled out on friday, for a sunday game). In that case, Scarneccia as the guy that will direct someone to try to steal the defensive calls, like happens on every Sunday in every NFL city

I would think Scarnecchia, that's why he's the asst. HC.

I think it would disruptive to add additional responsibilities onto the coordinators, they should be concerned with calling the plays.

My first instinct was Pees, but it would probably be Scar. Either way, the Patriots will win EVERY GAME Belichick's out.

It would be RIDICULOUS to suspend him suddenly on a Friday for a Sunday game. That's just outrageous and overly punative. Having said that, who cares? Do it. I DARE YOU. We will WIN ANYWAY.

The net effect of Belichick being out for a few games would be negligible.

    PS23,
If BB is suspended for 4 games and Scar comes in and wins them all, do you think Kraft will start BB agin are stick with Scar.

:) If it were Belichick making the decision, he'd stay with the hot hand.
