Idle thoughts...

7. The best debate topic question I've seen lately is the one that asks, if you can only keep one long term, who do you sign, Wilfolk or Samuel? I'm leaning toward Wilfolk, but I think I could get talked out of it with the right arguement. Needless to say, I would suspect that THIS will be the biggest topic on the board for the last 2 weeks of Feburary.

Wilfork. Not even close. Samuel is a good corner, especially for a fourth rounder, but there's a draft every year and BB could train any number of decent corners, that's his specialty ( we don't even have a high draft pick there, which was thought to be inconceivable for a good secondary).

Wilfork might be the most athletic nose tackle ever at a position that's crucial to the 3-4.

what is the over/under that Tom Brady is playing at Pebble Beach instead in Hawaii with his bretheren?

I actually think #12 WILL go to the Pro Bowl this year - mainly BECAUSE of his OL mates making the cut. That should be a special year for them.

I think BB believes more each year that corners are vital in this day and age, but Wilfork or Samuel? Not even a contest. WILFORK, 8 days a week.

The biggest threat by far, imo is still the Colts.
The way they play pass defense gives Brady the most difficulty.
Always have at least 1 deep safety, don't bite on play-action.
Pats got the deep ball late in the 1st meeting, but that's a rareity.
Gotta be very patient against the Colts defense, don't get too greedy.

Jax running game is very, very good,
but I'm not too concerned as long as the Pats hold them to FGs.
Can't beat the Pats kicking FGs.
