Yeah, we tend to hear it a lot. But the line about playing 110 snaps in a game says two VERY positive things to me:
1) He's durable and in great shape, which is often a wall for rookies in their first season.
2) He can contribute in ANY situation.
Kid's a football player, through and through.
Pretty much my thoughts.
What's more, this version of the "great values from his family" story was a little more interesting to me than the usual "threw bricks on the truck on Saturdays under the influence of a domineering father"/"threw melons on the truck on Saturdays under the influence of a domineering grandfather" kind of thing.* E.g., if he shows a bit of Ray Allen-like OCD, we'll have been warned.
*Quick trivia question: Which two former Pats was I referring to?
