Well, it does seem that the Democrats are as good at posting bad news about their guys and the Republicans are. Like I said in another post, I think all the corrupt Republicans and Democrats should step down, and then the Democrats would have a majority to clean up the mess.

As far as Jefferson goes, the apparent evidence against him make his claims of innocence laughable.

That's another, you think they will rally around him and deflect all the critcism to protect a demi-god or accept that he is corrupt.

Corruption is what it is, on either side of the aisle, he needs to take responsibility for his actions and if found guilty do his time... then become a talk show host, act like a victim, make lots of money and live happily ever after on the Bayou.

If they convict him won't that be Racism, maybe he came from a poor family, maybe he was abused when he was a child by his drunken uncle, maybe his great grandmother was a slave, maybe he didn't have any toys to play with when he was little, "Oh Dear Jesus" he's a Democrat.

Harry, I would think with so many Republicans getting indicted for bribery you would curtail your nonsense.

The blue dress is a good one...... One that will be discussed for eternity is W.M.D. should be some great history teachings for future generations in how gullible the public is, then again we seen before and will see it again.

I thought they were "north east south and west of Bagdad" as described by Rumsfeld.

Thanks, NEM, now I have to go looking for another spot.

He's using the McKinney defense and saying the search was a violation of the seperation of powers. I imagine he'll have as much luck as McKinney with that one. It's fun to watch them act indignant in the beginning then start sweating as they run out of legal wiggle room and the noose tightens. Me thinks a few years from now there'll be jokes that start "Tom DeLay and William Jefferson were playing cards in their cell..."
