After a game like this, and every troll and Patriot hater in the world will be claiming how this game shows the Patriots are vulnerable, but I'm not worried. People can say blueprint this and that, but the fact remains that the Eagles not only had a great gameplan and executed as well as they possibly could for most of the game, but they were in many ways uniquely qualified to even attempt it. There aren't many teams in the league with huge offensive linemen across the board that could stone the Patriots' pass rush so effectively (that Philadelphia offensive line played out of their minds tonight), allowing those deep-ins to develop consistently. That pass has always been open against this defense, it's just hard to throw consistently and allow enough time for the pattern to develop. The offense still moved the ball and scored, they had a little trouble with the blitz, but the offensive line just looked a little off, as did every receiver not named Welker and maybe Gaffney, and it didn't seem like anything the Eagles did, rather that they just had an off night. I don't think you'll see a repeat of this gameplan and a team executing it so well the rest of the season, and it'll be back to blowouts next week. If someone does beat the Patriots, it'll be because they play extremely well and don't make any mistakes, and have notable physical advantages in a few key areas. Now, let the gnashing of teeth commence...
