I'm not saying i'm sleeping bad. (edit: actually i guess that's exactly what im saying)

But you know when it gets early and you wake up to piss or what not and you get back in bed and are tired and would love to pass out but your mind starts racing and you can't?

    well that's what's happening.

I don't think i've slept more than 7 hours tops since the Pats lost.

I probably shouldn't have typed that last line. I'll probably get crap from the old businessmen who "are lucky to get 5 hours of sleep without having to set up a sales proposal before making million dollar deals for breakfast".

Ok i'm getting out of control here. i'll stop now.

Agreed, its been a rough 3 weeks, the only sports related stuff been watching is Celtics basket ball , and this road trip has not been goin good.. Every day I think of just 1 play would have made this offseason less painful

I feel your pain. It took me about 2 weeks to get past that. Then I started working my butt off and traveling alot and drinking, and the other day I slept 11 hours.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to set up a sales proposal.

    thanks for that:rofl:

that means i just need to get piss drunk. damn i should have thought of that.

a beer does sound craptastic right now though. I've just been so tired lately.
Being tired all the time and not being able to sleep as much as i want makes me want to take this laptop and drop kick it out my window btw.

You seriously need a drink or 12. Or at least a Tylenol PM.

I know how you feel.It took me a solid 10 days to stop replaying the games and plays in my head almost 24 hours a day to the point I thought I was freaking out.It really was like a death in the family.
The only thing that helps is that we experienced the greatest football seaon of all time.It was like reading a lottery ticket and having the last number being off.
I'll never forget the thrills that team gave me all year. But you know us NE fans maybe needed a little of our own humble pie.
In 2003, after the Red Sox debacle I was angry because of their usual ineptness in clutch games and being typical losers.
This year I was hurt by the Pats in the same way you might get stood up at the alter by Angilina Jolie with the whole world watching.Tore my heart out.

what are you worried about? All we got to do is win 2 more superbowls before Brady-Belichick-Moss retire, and then we will be the best dynasty ever surpassing the 49ers. Figure Brady and BB have a good 8 years left, i like our chances.

Why? Isn't that like saying you're not sleeping with whores anymore because you've switched to sluts?

I was having a convo with a buddy about the same exact thing - remarkably specific - you get up in the nite for any given reason (ie., the aforementioned having to piss, LOL), and then you can't think of anything but the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.

No matter where I turn the game still haunts me!!!

Day after the game a personalized jersey I bought shows up in the mail. NFL was running all pats goos 15% off. Im so glad I didnt buy the one with superbowl 42 on the shoulder.

This Tuesday I open the mail box to the flippin pats football weekly!!! I get it late because I live in Arkansas now.

Today I was in a meeting and they were playing the underdog role and no one says underdog any more they say GIANTS!!! Then to top that off they show a new gatorade G2 commercial with the Giants driving down the field to win the game.

My email blows up durning the meeting so every KC Chiefs and Cowboys fan can rub it in that Im getting blasted. Its painful and to be living in the South makes it even worse. Atleast you guys have each other to lean on. When I lean its on a fn cowboys fan that quickly forgets that they also lost to the Giants.

Oh and F SPECTER!!! I thought a lose would make all this SPYGATE crap go away but no they want to pure salt on the wound.

Baseball season cant get here soon enough!!!

To hell with the "buisnessmen" crap. Try being a parent to a little one. Talk about your mind racing.

Just 3 times? A couple days ago I turned to my gf and said "Wow, I haven't thought about the Pats in the past few hours...its been nice".

Of course, then I went and looked up draft 08 prospects for squeaks and gigs...2008 Pats is the only remedy for the Feb 3rd-related blues.

NOT TO MENTION I MADE THE GREATEST SPORTS BET IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS BETS

after we were rumored to get AD i immediately put 100 bucks on the pats to win it all at 10-1.

so basically i was a minute away from winning 1K

and i kept my damn mouth shut the entire time, up until now, b/c i didn't wnat to jinx it.

    son of a whore.
    so disapointing

Your mistake was not reverse-jinxing it.

Simply not jinxing it is not good enough.

You took the easy way out, and we all paid the price.

    Thanks alot, Keegs The Greek.

I have been going through the same thing. Plus when I wake up in the middle of sleeping, I usually turn on the TV. But now...NFLN...nope, ANY ESPN...nope, even NESN, can't do it. So then the thoughts come, followed by Spygate anger, and soon enough, I'm wide awake.
    Will this pain ever end??
