So many people claim I'm nothing more than a troll and I have a negative outlook on everything. I would like to prove that I do think positive at times but I'll also list a few negative things I think about this team.

I believe Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL and it's not that close.

I believe Laurence Maroney will be offensive rookie of the year.

I believe that Daniel Graham is still the most complete TE on our roster.

I believe that Asante Samuel is going to have an oustanding season and silence all of the critics.

I believe that while we were in the bottom 10 in rushing last season, we will be in the top 10 this season.

I believe that once Seymour is healthy that we will have one of the best front sevens in football even without McGinest.

I don't believe that Dillon will be back to his old form. I simply see him going the way of Antowain Smith. He'll be a decent short yardage back for us this season if he can stay healthy but that's it.

I don't believe that Ellis Hobbs is a legit starting NFL cornerback.

I don't believe that we will have any receiver surpass 50 catches or 600 yds this season. (This really isn't THAT bad as we'll spread the ball around even more than we have in the past of course if Branch comes back, you can disregard this one. :D )

I think that about covers it, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Yeah, I have one. Why do you hate the New England Patriots? :D

Don't let certain posters who enjoy acting as forum gestapo get to you. The old guys of the forum know you're not a troll; you've been posting on and off here ever since I started, it seems.

I believe that Ben Watson will have a MONSTER season and have more than 50 catches and more than 600 yards with a bunch of touchdowns.

What old guys? Either they all were run off or they too think I'm a troll. :D

I don't see it happening. That's alot of catches for a TE especially in an offense where everyone sees the ball. If anyone is going to break 600, it's going to be Caldwell, or like I said Branch.

Here is my test for a troll. Do you believe the Dolphins suck with all your heart?

Do I think they suck as in I don't like them because they're a rival and I refuse to give them any credit whatsoever? You bet.

Objectively speaking? No I don't think they suck but I do think we're better.

Of course, us old guys have hated the dolphins for many, many years, at least 25. And no, you're not a troll.

Not so fast declaring him not a troll.:D

His eye laxitives seem to be working on one eye. Looks like he needs double the dose on the other eye.

I believe the children are the future...you can teach them well, but then, eventually you must let them lead the way, and show them all that beauty they possess inside.

I believe in Crystal Light, because I believe in me.

I believe in the soul. The ****. The ****y. The small of a woman's back. The hanging curveball. High fiber. Good scotch. That the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a Constitution Amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas eve. And I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days...Goodnight.

The Dolphins have sucked since Larry Csonka scored a touchdown in 2 feet of water in the end zone at BC

I believe Corey Dillon is still a top 15 running back, and that the only time he'll ever be in the same hemisphere as Antslow Sloth if he's he's playing injured again.

I believe that if Ben Watson stays healthy he'll have well over 600 yards recieving.

I believe that Ellis Hobbs is the best cornerback currently on our roster.

I believe our run defense will have a hard time adjusting to the new linebacking corps against the leagues better OL and RBs.

I believe Rodney Harrison will start in Week 1.

I believe that Tedy Bruschi will be back by Week 4.

I believe that Ryan O'Callaghan will be our starting RT for Week 1.

I believe that Lomo is the truth, but I also believe that his pencil lower legs are asking for an injury.

I believe that Chad Jackson will still have a productive rookie season once he gets healthy.

I am STARTING to believe that Klecko can still make this roster.

I believe that we will win the AFCE again.

I believe that a Superbowl trip is possible but not probable.

I believe that Tom Brady is HOF worthy already.

I believe that Tom Brady will have his best season in 2006, regardless of the WRs he has to work with.

I believe that Tully Banta Cain will have a productive season as a pass rusher, but will struggle against the run.

I believe that Junior Seau will get a sack or two, and will celebrate annoyingly both times.

I believe that if Deion Branch does not suit up, that Troy Brown will be our most productive wide reciever this season (barring injury).

I (want to) believe that Willie Andrews and Bam Childress are both the next Troy Brown.

I believe that Dave Thomas and Garrett Mills will be a huge part of our offense this season.

I didnt think that anyone was still alive that was at that game, other then me. Were you there, at BC, the day the stands caught on fire, or the day they called the guy out of the stands to go and dress for the game?

I spent one game, at BC, on the end of the Patriot's bench.

I knew the Fallon Ambulance driver and he had me ride shotgun one day, and we had to sit at the end of the Player's bench and be ready in case of injury.

At Fenway, I spotted, in the press box, one season for PA announcer Vin Maloney. It was not as much fun as sitting in the stands, cause of the open microphone, you had to be quiet. But, all the food was free. :D

Anyway, that's off topic....

I think most of Husker's pro, and cons, are on target except I believe Dillon will have an outstanding season....

I agree, STRONGLY, about Hobbs at the corner..I think he does a nice job as a NICKEL, but as a starter, I believe he will get destroyed, especially on inside slants and crossings.

I've asked you this over and over, but you've never answered..

WHY do you think Height is an issue for Ellis, but not for Asante or any of the other CBs? Ellis isn't that much smaller than anyone else besides Warfield or Chad Scott, but do you really want either of those guys starting at cornerback? If Ellis doesn't start at CB who else does besides Samuel? If it's Wilson, then who starts at Safety? You just keep bashing Ellis without addressing the issues of WHO else will play. Or do you envision a 1 CB - 2 S - 5 LB - 3 DL look? Give something more to your argument than just 'Ellis Hobbs isn't a starter because he'll get killed on slants and crossing patterns'. Who else on the team will handle slants and crossing patterns better as a #2 CB? Asante didn't handle every situation well last season and he was our #1! and now Ellis isn't even good enough to be a #2? Explain it, please!

I agree with NEM regarding Dillon and Hobbs. I'm a newcomer patriot fan(1980) so I don't remember the BC game.

I agree with you on all but one thing. Corey Dillon is not even close to Antwain Smith. Dillon still has stuff left in his tank and mark my words he will be the most motivated Patriot on the field this year. He has a lot to prove to people this year and he'll refuse to not prove it.

I, for one, would like to see Gene Wilson at one of the corners We have some solid safeties to put back there this season, especially if Rodney plays.
If you have a problem with Asante starting, I don't see how you could be okay with Wilson at CB. They're exactly the same height, not to mention that they're both the same height as Ty Law. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly that I don't like about Hobbs but it's there. He seems to me more like a Terrell Buckley who was a very good nickelback. He takes alot of risks that don't always pay off. On the other hand, it seems that Asante has a real nose for the ball and is always in position to make a play. He has also handled himself quite well against much taller WRs. I guess in a perfect world I would want Samuel and Wilson at CB with Hobbs at Nickel and Harrison and Sanders/Hawkins/Jones at Safety.

I guess we weren't watching the same games last season. Asante was hardly EVER in position for most of the season and Ellis routinely made stops and pass breakups and INTs until teams stopped throwing his way as much as Asante's direction.

Yep. Thats why I like him and now he is really starting to take advantage of that. Asante Samuel is the best cornerback the Patriots have. And it would be a shame not to keep this talent for years to come.

Plus I hope everyone knows the recievers he virtually went 1 on 1 with this year.

Can we? You bet, I already have us picked in a pool. What's that? Pools are illegal? Well lets keep that on the down low then.
