What a bunch of disgusting degenerates. But I am sure the usual left wing apologists will defend these people. Also, I am sure they are very proud of themselves, having scared the daylights out of some teenage kid who was home alone.

    What's really behind SEIU's Bank of America protests - May. 19, 2010

Every journalist loves a peaceful protest-whether it makes news, shakes up a political season, or holds out the possibility of altering history. Then there are the ones that show up on your curb--literally.

Last Sunday, on a peaceful, sun-crisp afternoon, our toddler finally napping upstairs, my front yard exploded with 500 screaming, placard-waving strangers on a mission to intimidate my neighbor, Greg Baer. Baer is deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America (BAC, Fortune 500), a senior executive based in Washington, D.C. And that -- in the minds of the organizers at the politically influential Service Employees International Union and a Chicago outfit called National Political Action -- makes his family fair game.

Waving signs denouncing bank "greed," hordes of invaders poured out of 14 school buses, up Baer's steps, and onto his front porch. As bullhorns rattled with stories of debtor calls and foreclosed homes, Baer's teenage son Jack -- alone in the house -- locked himself in the bathroom. "When are they going to leave?" Jack pleaded when I called to check on him.

How the hell did these people end up on his porch? If someone did that at my house, I'd go outside with a gun until they left. Their porch is private property!

I think the SEIU crossed the line here. It's not merely the question of decency and whether or not this was appropriate, but they should know that the optics on something like this are terrible.

I don't condone demonstrating outside someone's house unless they're a known scumbag and there is evidence to corroborate such. Even in this case, if they couldn't do it at his office, they should have remained across the street or a good distance away. Just my opinion, of course.

Privacy and trespassing means nothing to these union thugs. Not only did they march all over this guy's property, they also marched all over the private property of many of his neighbors.

And you know what the sad thing is? If you did go outside with a gun and they attacked you so you opened fire, you would be the one in trouble and not them.

I'd just go out and randomly start shooting with blanks just to "F" them up!

Unions. Yet once again another benevolent idea corrupted and turned in to a bane to the public good.

That's just contributing to the negative dialogue. They're well within their rights to collectively identify a wrongdoer that had absolutely nothing to do with their own economic circumstance.

Hey, are you ok?!! They had ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to go onto the family's property! There is no defending this action unless you don't have a clue!

Do you have a family or any kids? Would your kids be the proper target for a mob to scare half out of their wits? Obviously they ended up doing a lot more than simply identifying a wrongdoer, but nice spin to hide behind.

Honestly the best thing to do? Throw your curtains wide open, open your windows, crank up some obscenely annoying music and dance naked in front of the window. If it's your house, and you're inside of it, it can't be seen as public indecency right? And if so, just do the ol' tuck under and rub lotion all over yourself instead. It would have to be hard to continue to protest next door to a guy doing that!

So where are the statements from the administration denouncing this thuggery? Where are the statements from Nancy Pelosi, H Reid and cong Grayson?

Ha ha - the only thing these people did wrong was hang out on private property. But I love all the value judgments - they work great in lieu of proper judgment, don't they guys? Power to the people!
