Will the Jaguars serve it to the Colts? Or will it have to wait for the Pats to serve it? Your predictions?

I think if the Jags can get their running game going and control the clock they can serve some Humble Pie. How funny would that be?

I think the Jaguars are a very good team, and they could well beat the Colts tonight.

However, the Colts have had a bye week to prepare for the game and they have to be getting sick and tired of reading about "Tom Brady this" and "Randy Moss that."

I look for a statement game on MNF tonight by the Colts, setting up a showdown in two weeks.

I think the Colts will win. They have looked as good as the Pats in the games I have seen. The Indy game in two weeks should be phenominal.

I think the Colts win, but I also think that this game will be their toughest yet, BY A WIDE MARGIN.

I think the Jags have a legitimate shot at upsetting the Colts. If Bob Sanders is out, the Colts might have a lot of headaches against Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor.

I can see tonight's game going either way. Part of me wants the Colts to win. I think the Colts may be more dangerous in two weeks facing an undefeated Patriots if they have one loss under their belt. They will not want to fall two games behind us for HFA. I think the Colts will have much more of a sense of urgency on November 4th with a loss.

Seems like the Colts come out flat after a bye. They generally win them, but in ugly fashion. On the road, at Jax, on a Monday night is not the time to come out flat.

i think harrison is hurt worse than indy is telling us. this will make both wayne and clark less effective. Plus Jax is gonna play smashmouth. If they are successful running the ball and controlling the clock, Jax wins going away.

I don't think that the Colts will have any problem getting up for the Pats. Even with a loss under their belt.
But if the Colts do have a loss there's also the possibility that it could shake their confidence.
So IMO a Colts loss is always better for the Pats.
Particularly since that gives us the home field advantage edge for the playoffs.

    #17 Jersey

    I am hoping Sanders plays..

It would be most helpful for the Patriot brain trust to be able to see exactly how the Colts man up VS the Jags tonight - this will be very useful for their preparation for our little showdown.

Like they couldn't get gametapes of the Colts first 5 games? Why does the tape have to be against the Jags to be useful? I will not shed a tear if the Colts lose this game. And if they then run into the Pats and lose AGAIN, that might just send them into a little tailspin, assuring HFA for the Pats come playoff time.

Colts win by 14. I see another battle of unbeatens in our future.

You mustn't have seen that many. NO was certainly a cake walk given the Saints staggered out of the gate. But they barely hung on against Tennessee and held off Houston in the end - two mistake prone teams QB'ed by relative novices, both of whom blew multiple chances to alter those outcomes. Then they handled a stumbling Denver and their second NFC matchup Tampa about as we would have or did.

I never bet against the Colts except in one matchup, but even off a bye, and one where they had a couple of key pieces healing up, it should be a tough matchup tonight in which they could at least get beat up, same as in Carolina next week on short rest before they host us. Then they have to travel to SD who may be waking up from their 2006 press clippings induced haze. And then KC comes to town but Herm will likely find a way to screw that up.

I think they could easily lose 2 of their next 5 (3 on the road) although they should coast home from there schedule wise barring substantial injuries. Might well be they manage to take the next two only to lose to us and SD back to back. For us I think running the table after the bye is thoroughly doable. So if we take the Indy game we could potentially still lose a trap game along the way and still end up with HFA throughout. And if we don't take it but run the table thereafter we could still end up with HFA if that's our only loss.

Fans on both sides obsess about Pats-Colts (with very good reason). But forget HFA, the Colts are playing for the division lead tonight. Jax wins, they take over 1st place in what is turning out, surprisingly, to be the toughest division in the NFL. I don't see the Colts coming out flat.

I think the Pats will thrash the Colts in one of their two meetings this season, and eke out a close win in the other.

I don't have a strong opinion as to which kind of win will happen when.

We only play them once in the regular season since they are not divisional foes...

    No Jersey Selected

While I hope the Colts lose and I know the Jags are capable of pulling out a win I just don't see Indy losing. It should be interesting to see how susceptible their "D" is to the run and if they did improve.

Ok let's put it on the record before the game starts.
Who thinks the Jags can pull off an upset and serve the Colts some Humble Pie?

I put the Jags chances at 33%.
Those odds jump up to 85% if they can rush for over 250 yards as a team.

Humble pie? We're not the team getting BJ's from ESPN. Pats need humble pie more than anyone.
