I always knew he was an idiot and knew nothing about sports, but today was just too much. He told Troy Brown he thinks the Pats are playing with house money because even Pats fans didn't expect them to make the SB and just being there is good in and of itself.

What the f*** kind of mentality is that? This isn't the 85 bears we're playing. This is a good but arrogant and overconfident team with flaws that went 9-7 in the regular season for a reason.

This game is a must win. The Patriots lose this, and we get all the "Giants own Pats" talk..."Coughlin has two SBs" "Brady has lost two SBs" etc. . Winning this game shuts up A LOT of people and pisses off the Tom Jackson's of the world, fans of other teams that are Pats haters, Jets fans, Giants fans, Colts fans, Rex Ryan (well I doubt that one) and basically makes Brady either the consensus 1st or 2nd best qb of all time with Montana.

I've never hated a team more than this Giants team. Not even the 2000s Colts or the Yankees before the Sox won it all.

I could watch the rest of Brady and Belichick's time together and genuinely not care if they won it all again. Sure I'd want them to, but I could just relax knowing they have 4 together and beat the Giants in the house the Giants QB equally ugly and annoying brother played in.

The Pats would be even MORE hated if that's possible. Tom Jackson would go home and get consolation sex from his husband and Colts fans would seek therapy.

More importantly, Brady would be 1/2 or 1a/1b without a doubt.

So yeah Tanguay, this game doesn't matter, Belichick is just happy to be there lol.

First, to say the the Pats are "happy to be there" is such a slap in the face to the organization. As for the fans, he is correct. Just reading all the garbage from fans on this board I have never seen such an insecure fan base. Some act like the Pats should be thankful to be on the same field. Like seriously? I am a Yankees fan, and even when our team is prob not the best we still think we are going to win it EVERY year regardless of their weaknesses.

Same here. At first, I thought this was about a former Avalanche hockey player or something.

Yea....I saw Tanguay. What a clown.....

    He keeps saying "house money"

Like someone else said...."We aren't playing the "85" Bears"

Even Troy wanted to slap him.

    Tanguay is a *ucking clown

    Go Away Please

I hate people who are yankees fans.. especialy when they try to be fans of another Boston team besides the Sox. Picking and choosing teams based on "god-Knows-what' logic you're using.. instead of supporting your home team.. sickens me to death!! We don't want you. Go be a fan of the Jets or the Giants. If you are a NE native.. then all the more shame on you. :nono:

And besides all of that... SERIOUSLY!?!? You are trying to tell us how hard you have it, and still stay supportive when the Yankees don't win?!?!?! which is only every few years or so? The Yankees have the LEAST beleaguered fanbase in the entire league... in the entire realm of sports in fact.

Please, for the love of god, jump off of this particular bandwagon. The Pats don't need one more clueless, bandwagoner, Championship wh0re.

As Fitzy would say.... GFY Yankees fan!

Hes a moron, that why he got booted off of 98.5 for Gresh. The other day he said theres no question the Giants offensive line is much superior to the Patriots. Hes says things like that all the time and theres no one there to challenge him.

To be honest, that's about how I feel as a fan - for the first time since the '01 SB. I never expected the Pats to make it this far, so honestly I'm just happy that they got here. Would I be happier if they won? Of course I would, but I won't be devastated as I was in '07, nor do I expect them to win as I did in '03 and '04.

Can't be that much of an idiot. He just accused Borges of having a personal agenda vis-a-vis Bill Belichick. Oh and to hear the protests from Borgie the Plagiarist. Love mediot on mediot crime. :D

Same exact feelings here. And yet I do feel confident about a win. At which point, I was joking with my Vikings friend, I will retire as a "fan" ;)

Why do we assume pressure is a bad thing? Mentally tough athletes thrive on pressure.

I believe Steve Carell studied and drew inspiration from Gary Tanguay for his role in Anchorman.

I throw up in my mouth every time I hear that he is the favorite to take over play by play duties for the Pats radio broadcast.
