Remember the rule is:

A Pro Bowler is anyone who is initially selected for the Pro Bowl OR actually participates. Someone invited who doesn't go doesn't count.

So. . . . how many Pro Bowlers do you think the Pats will have?

ETA: The Pro Bowl teams will be announced tomorrow at 7 PM ET on NFL Network.

For reference, here are the fan voting results (1/3 of the end result, I believe)
Pro Bowl final fan results - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston
Judging by that, my guess is:

Brady
Welker
Gronk
Hernandez
Mankins
Waters
Carter
Wilfork

So I estimate that Light and Arrington will fall back a few spots after taking player and coach votes into account, while Waters will jump ahead a few spots, into the Pro Bowl.

My Six

Brady
Light
Mankins
Welker
Gronk
Wilfork

Brady

Wilfork
Waters
Welker
Mankins
Light
arrington

Qualifying the vote by those who actually GO to the Pro Bowl leaves out Carter. Not sure Waters makes it as I haven't followed the voting. Nice addition to the Pats OL but Pro Bowl caliber? Mankins going would be based on his reputation more than this season's performance IMHO but he probably makes it based on voting.

Gronk is a shoo in, as are Wilfork,Brady and Welker. Mankins gets in on his rep and Light makes 6.

Thats my story and I'm stickin to it :D

Carter is on IR. I think that eliminates him from Pro Bowl contention.

Michael Lombardi did a half way point all-pro article, and made Waters his all-pro guard.

IMO Waters has been solidly the best guard int he AFC. Mankins as you said has been voted in on his reputation as he has played poorly most of the year and been way outplayed by Waters.

Waters should get the players and coaches votes...it's a shame fans who vote for this don't watch the game closely enough...it's a farce.

I think Brady, Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, Mankins, Wilfork and Mayo make it. Hopefully none of them will be in attendance!

That's an OR, not an AND.

Anyone announced tonight is a Pro Bowler, even if they don't go.
