It is currently 7.70 a share. It was over $25.00 a share 6 months ago and back in November it was around $20.00

    How low will it go?

I figure it's a good investment if it goes to $5

I can't answer the question, we're in a national and global recession combined with an administration at war with business - which is why there's no buyers for any stocks, funds or sectors - for the long term, though, you almost have to start dollar cost averaging in. I still have some in cash as I've been on strike against putting any more in the market. I was saving to pay off my house eventually with this but as the market just keeps dropping and dropping, I can't help but think I need to dollar cost average in with that money.

Can't help you on GE speificially except for the thread bump.
