How is Mic'ing Brady's Audio Calls Not Illegal?

I thought stealing signals wasn't a big deal? Isn't that what you Pats fans have been saying for a while now? It is interesting to see you guys complain and ***** about the mic on the QB (they do it to Manning too) but then turn around and say no advangtage was gained from the Pats cheating. How does that work?

It's NOT a big deal, that's why it's ridiculous the Pats were fined such a stiff penalty.

The reason people are so pissed is because there is a blatant double standard, hypocrisy when it comes to advanced scouting. NBC broadcasting audio is somehow fine, yet sideline video is called 'cheating' and makes everyone hate the Pats.

Just throwing this out there, not saying it has any legitimacy, but aside from our poor run D, does anyone think that the other teams have an idea what we are running because of the audio mic'ing on Brady?

Nah. It was even brought to BB's attention, and he put it out there that he'd "look into it."

It'll be interesting to see whether they do the directional mike trick again this Sunday, after BB "looking into it." But to get to your question, given the coach was aware of it, you can bet he changed what means what in the Pats audibles between then and now.
