I think we all know the answer to that: Barack Hussein Ocrackhead. Nice to see the POTUS has plenty of time to vacation while our economy burns.

Great job, crackhead! You ran this country straight into the ground just like you wanted to! It's Miller Time!

Anyone ever notice how the media constantly acts as an Ocrackhead apologist by talking about how jobless claims "unexpectedly" rise? Consumer confidence "unexpectedly" decreases? Seriously: How many times does something have to happen before it stops being "unexpected"?

Everyone else is on vacation in DC, can't he have some family time??

John Boehner is out playing golf with lobbyists... this is just the faux outrage of the day..

We don't care about everyone else, we care about The President, when the ship is sinking the Captain stays on the Bridge.

Please God, help America and save her from these fools.

I'll say two things. It never looks good when a president goes on vacation during difficult times. Be it war casualties, economic problems, or whatever other crisis you can think of. That being said, a president is never truly on vacation. I said the same when George Bush went to his ranch in Texas. They might be someplace outside their phyisical office, but the job of that office always goes along with them.

Part 2 is Coke vs Pepsi. It used to be that it was terrible with that eeeeeeeeeeeevil George Bush went on vacation. Now for some it's ok when a president goes on vacation. The difference in opinion depends on who's Coke and who's Pepsi.

    Cop out.

Obama should be in Washington. So should Congress. Obama doesn't get a pass just because Congress doesn't give a damn.

But I suppose both of them deserve a break for all the hard work and excellent governing Coke and Pepsi have done lately. At least we don't have to hear from either side for a while. The quiet is peacefully deafening.

I actually think that the further away from DC these people are, the better.

A revolution is needed, new faces, patriotism, common sense, law and order and a strong defense against the illegal alien invasion.

Our present Politicians are rotten scurvy dog pigs.

Wow it took you all of 15 minutes to respond. Thank you for stalking.

Yeah, our abysmal economy, loss of global prestige, credit downgrade, massive unemployment and never ending debt cycle is all just a product of Fox News.

    The world is in a recession ... the world ... W O R L D.

i think Obama can do more but we will not improve a ton without countries to sell goods to ... also many of the solutions need the approval of Congress. If you really must point the finger at least start in the right area. We have the President - Congress and the Senate and they all work together or not at all.

Just another apologist making excuses for the crackhead in chief. Maybe the moron shouldn't have made improving the economy the central theme of his entire campaign and his number one promise made to all Americans.

I told a lot of people in late '08, early '09 that things would get worse under Obama. They didn't believe me back then. They do now.

Not making excuses for him ... just tired of people blaming the president for problems that need to be ironed out by Congress.

Wow, aren't you a f'ing Nostradamus!!! Really went out on a limb with that one, didn't ya? ... What with a global depression bailed out (delayed) by way of corporate socialism a few months before.

They didn't believe you back then, and they don't believe you today. That's because you continue to have a very difficult time getting your limited education level around the obvious differences between causation and correlation.

Grow up. And take a vacation.

At this stage of the Bush Presidency he had taken 180 days of vacation.. not that there was anything going on then..

At this state of the Obama Presidency he has taken 61 days of vacation.. and there are similar crisises right now..

The situational vitriol of the right is once again apparent. But it was all different when George was clearin' brush, ridin' the mountain bike and taken care of the 'merican people from his ranch or in kennebunkport.

While I myself chose not to vacation this year, much of my family also elected to rent a place on Martha's Vinyard this year. A good time was had by all, in fact my niece caught a huge fish! The fact that Obama is now on his way there just makes him more of a man of the people to me. I should point out that the place my sisters rented, unlike Obama's residence, was in no way equipped to conduct a global thermonuclear war, nor was it ready to repel a company-strength terrorist attack. I'm informed it didn't even have high-speed internet.

Sure thing, Icy. From 2001 to 2008, it was all on the President. Now, all of a sudden, the economy is a "problem that needs to be ironed out by Congress.".

Presidents don't get vacations, they're always working. What they're doing while they're working is another story -- are they hanging out at Camp David being briefed by advisors or out on the campaign trail?
