I had 6 wrong in what was one of the most shocking roster shakeups in years.

OFFENSE (20)
QB - 3 Brady, Gutierrez, O’Connell - wrong about Cassell vs Gutierrez
RB – 4 Faulk, Maroney, Morris (ST), Jordan (KR) - didn't know Faulk would be suspended opening another roster spot
C - 1 Koppen
G - 4 Hochstein, Mankins, Yates, Flynn, - Connolly - I should have stayed with my gut instinct (and prediction) that the Pats would cut both Flynn and Welbourn
OT - 3 Light, , Kaczur, Britt
WR - 3 Moss, Gaffney, Welker,
TE - 2 Watson, Dave Thomas - didn't have Spach

DEFENSE (20)
DE - 4 Warren, Green, Seymour, S. Thomas - Thought that Smith was hurt more - didn't practice yesterday
DT - 2 Wilfork, , Wright
OLB- 3 Vrabel, A Thomas, Woods,
ILB- 2 Bruschi, Mayo,
CB - 4 Hobbs, Bryant, Wheatley (Gunner), Wilhite (Gunner) - who saw the Bryant cut coming
S - 5 J. Sanders, Harrison, Meriweather, Lynch, L Sanders - Lynch is only a temporary cut

SPECIALISTS (3)
P - 1 Hanson
K - 1 Gostkowski
LS - 1 Paxton

SPECIAL TEAMS (10)
Slater (KR/WR/S), Ventrone (WR/S), Guyton (ILB), Evans (FB), Crable (OLB), Aiken (WR/Gunner), Washington (WR/Gunner), Izzo, Alexander (ILB), Redd (LB)

Wrong picks
Redd
Bryant
Gutierrez
Flynn
S. Thonas
Lynch

Correct cuts
Jackson
Hobson
Welbourn

Keeping CJ Jones and Spach still surprise the heck out of me. Two pickups from the waivers (LeVoir and Pociask) are also a surprise. I could see Pociask as a possible keeper and LeVoir waived (hopefully) to the PS for extended classroom time with Master Dante.
I don't think they are done yet either ... Deltha O' Neal or Ty Law, OL Jacob Bender (PS), OT Willie Anderson is still out there and perhaps a backup QB (Simms).

Not bad at all - who could have seen Bryant and Lynch coming?

The fact that neither Wellbourn or Flynn made the team was really surprising to me. I think they looked 10x better than Yates or Connelly, especially coming in right off the street.

At any rate, dont lock down that roster just yet even ... looks like the FO will be active this year.

You saw my response to ypur post about Flynn and Welbourn that predicted they would be cut because of the salary guarantee of vested vetrans. I didn't follow my own advice and left Flynn on the roster projection because they were so hurting on the O line. I never saw the Lynch cut for the same Vet guarantee issue.

Looks like the FO is managing the roster like its a Fantasy Football league, changing the roster week to week to get the most favorable matchups.

I got my binky. Izzo iz ztill the zpecial teamz mazter.

I missed on:

Flynn and Welbourne - but think that either of them may be back in week 2.

I also missed on only one of Jordan or Morris - thinking that both do essentially the same thing on the roster and tie up one roster spot.
