I think this will come down to how ready to go Gronk is and what McDaniels plans to do with the offense. Experience says that McDaniels will emphasise three wide receivers which limits, to a degree, the desperate need for a Gronk compliment and puts more emphasis on a Gronk backup and occasional two TE set guy. I'm a massive ASJ fan and would be fine with drafting him at 29 but this is why I've leaned more towards the CJF pick.
The only clear thing I take from McDaniels is that he will work with whatever he has, and usually make more of it than you might expect. After all, he did this to the Vikings back in 2006, and leaned heavily on BJGE, Kevin Faulk, and Heath Evans in 2008.
