How about Griffin and Harris?

Actually not true. Most of their first round rookies don't play until their fourth or fifth game, after they EARN it.

Ty Warren did not get a ton of PT his first year with us.

If you are lookign at SILB, two scenarios develop. First is this a run stopper (ie: Ted Johnson) or a coverage ILB (ie: Phifer) Vrabel is purely a run stopper, but his best value is probably at OLB. The ideal situation is a guy that can be both; like Thomas.
So do the Pats move Thomas to ILB because he is big and strong enough to stop the run and fast enough to cover WR's?

In my mind Harris can step up and stuff the run and he's not that bad in coverage.
Beason is not a run stuffer, but could develop as a coverage LB.
Posluzny can both both well, but does not excel at either.
