None.

Thanks for reinforcing my Point.

What a shame that it continues to elude you.

ARROGANCE-an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or in presumptuous claims or assumptions

Bill thought the patriots would be fine without welker...Do you think bill would bench welker against the ravens in the playoffs.

Are you missing the point that wes benching pretty much disrupted the offense flow for the whole game?

Bill disrupted the offense because he felt they still beat the jets.

Wes had 7 catches for 57 yards that game.

.. and and reducing Welker's playing in those games early this year has disrupted the offense for the rest of the year!!

Welker at a press conference made jokes about the private sex-life of an opposing head coach. -While hilarious, there are sooo many reasons that Belichick would have benched him for this that "over-confidence" or "arrogance" isn't even in the top 10.

If you've got to read Belichick's mind to support or make your argument, you are probably talking out your ass.

Nope. You're funny enough for both of us. ;)

It's rather amazing that I have to explain this to anyone, but here goes:

Coach Bill disciplined Welker.

Would you like to guess why? :)

Because Welker was behaving ~ in that Press Conference ~ as if he wasn't taking the Jets seriously.

Coach Bill benching Welker for a Series ~ not a Quarter: did you actually watch the Game?? ~ was a message to every one of the 53 to take the Jets deadly seriously.

How on earth does benching your best offensive weapon prove you take a opponent seriously?

Looks like a mild week ahead in Denver - -followed by a cold Saturday with possibly some snow.

10 Day Weather Forecast for Denver - weather.com

But they'll know Saturday night who they would play so will have staff mobilized, film ready, etc. Not too worried about that aspect.

Denver will have 24 hours more rest than NE.

Plus NE has to spend a day traveling to Denver.

Plus the Mile High altitude adjustment is worse in the colder weather.

I'm rooting for Baltimore to win their next two games.

Green-Ellis was playing by far the best game of any Bengal. Marvin crapped the bed again.

The Bengals are average team at best. Yet, they held the Texans to 1 TD all game.

That alone, tells you that the Texans has not really improved from their miserable limping into playoffs.

IMO - I dont see the Texans going any further. Patriots will win. No doubt.

The Bengals offense is not good, but their defense is much better than you think

I'm glad everyone here cleared up the fact that benching your best/most reliable offensive weapon during a playoff game doesn't mean you're over confident in your team.

I hope more coaches (or one more) uses this measure against the patriots.

True, but, Texans D is not far off from Patriots D for the 2012 year...

I hope it snows.

As I've said before. . . . imagine making Gillette a domed stadium. . . . a domed stadium where it snows every single home game. :D

Sadly, 10-day forecast for Foxboro, MA is low-40s.. No snow.

But, the 12th-man MUST show up @ Foxboro...

Anything would be better than that sunshine the ravens beat the patriots in.

zipster9 I take it you aren't fond of the CODE format function? :p

Dungy just said the Patriots will win big against the Texans...

WE ARE DOOMED!!!:p and Rodney Harrison said the Patriots will win as well.

Hard not to feel confident about this one. It will be closer than the first contest for sure, but the Pats are rolling in with their full arsenal. Looking forward to it.

First, the Texans overrely on the play-action. They do it to take pressure off of Schaub and hide his limitations. You slow down Foster and play disciplined enough not to bite on the play-action (which the Pats did near perfectly the last time), the Texans' offense gets pretty pedestrian.

Ironically, Tony Sparano might have accidentally done BB a huge favor when he unleashed the Wildcat four years ago. :)

Watching the first Texans game again. That game could have gone differently if I few things had gone the Texans way. The pats first score came from a holding call, which they might not get in the playoffs and a fumble that the luckily recovered. Every play counts. If they turn the ball over and commit penalties, they will lose.

The Pats were also without their # 1/2 (depending on the play call) option in the offense and the best TE in the league at that point, as well.

Let's do this!!!

Your team kicked our ASS laat time. Time for revenge!!

Maybe buy problem is you guys rely on your run game way to much, and with a discipline team you guys couldn't control the game. If you guys get to Tom and can run (unlikely) you guys can win. But remember we will be healthy and will have gronk.
