Belichick, the consummate football historian's historian, must remember that the hook and ladder worked against the Bolts in 1982 during the playoffs. Miami pulled it off.

Boise State recently pulled it off.

I know the Pats used it in the laste 70s I think...not bad given you can get someone open and get a receiver close enough for an easy lateral.
 
They are not going to need gimic plays to beat this team; ram the ball down their throats and stuff the run, force their QB to win the game, which he will not do.................
