    Wow. Thanks for posting.

Mathieu has a ton of talent, but also a ton of question marks. Size. Positional fit. Recurrent off field issues. This will probably cost him a ton of money next April. He could be still be a top 50 pick like Janoris Jenkins, but he could also fall like Janzen Jackson.

Here's hoping the Honey Badger becomes the Pats' 2013 version of Alfonzo Dennard. I'd love to see him drop to a day 3 pick and take a chance on him at that point in the draft. Probably not earlier given his history.

Listed at 5'9" I think he's closer to 5'7" so I'm not sure how he would translate to the NFL anyway but still what a waste of talent.

Or the April after next. Either way, this is a draft changer.

I'd guess he's more like Jackson than Jenkins though.

    No Jersey Selected

That video by OTG was awesome. Really emulates the expectations of such an aggressive defender.

Would love to see this kid in the rotation as a defender. He exudes "playmaker".

Michael Felger draft strategy Part IV. Have players you like smoke as much weed as possible to lower draft stock or drill a cop(Dennard). Scoop them up in later rounds; Spikes, Hernandez, Dennard and Honey Badger.

In all seriousness, given that the Pats generally pick at the end of rounds with their own picks, BB has managed to be very creative in finding talent that slips through the draft:

    - Injury/health concerns: Gronk, Spikes, Cannon
    - Off field issues (after very careful vetting, and used sparingly, and only on day 3): Hernandez, Dennard, Mallett
    - Guys whose stats were impacted by injury: Jones
    - "Raw" but talented prospects: Jones, Solder, possibly even Ebner
    - Selective "reaches": Vollmer, Ridley, Wilson

BB's not going to go for a "top 5" talent who underperforms (Coples) or slides de to character issues (Bryant). He's going to go for a "raw" kid whose stats were impacted by coming off a knee injury (Jones) or who is considered not quite ready (Solder). He wouldn't take a kid like Janoris Jenkins in the 2nd round, but he'd take Alfonzo Dennard in the 7th.

Mathieu will undoubtedly be very carefully scrutinized. He'll either be off the Pats' board entirely, or a prize potential value target, depending on whether they view his off field issues as immaturity or an ongoing problem.

I'd take him for his punt return ability alone. Maybe, can play a nickel or dime back. Gamble and make big plays. A Terrell Buckley type. 3-5th round though.

Thanks, Bro!! Laughed my @$$ off!!

The bizarre part, I thought, was the extremely impressive backpedal he showed.

Clearly, Honey Badger is ready to play "Man" Coverage!! :D

IMO a college football star looking toward the NFL who fails drug test every year isn't just an "idiot" as the Walter Football commentary had it. That sounds like a guy with a genuine drug PROBLEM.

Some rumors connected him to McNeese State, but he has two years of eligibility left, i almost wonder if it would be better to transfer to another BCS school, it would give him more time to get his stock back up.
