Honestly, this should be a GREAT game...

So your main concern is grammar and not that you will have to beat a team that has owned you over the years away from home.

The kid has to learn some time!

You guys have a good year and suddenly you think you're Masters of the Universe. You get a bye week and thinks that's your ticket to Nirvana. You beat our JV squad in October and think - nay - believe, a replay is a given, seemingly without at least acknowledging the big boys are back. The very same big boys who have won the last 2 Super Bowls. The last 2 years in which your guys have done....SQUAT! Sorry 'bout that...

If Elway were your QB, I'd be really excited about this matchup. But he's not. Hasn't been for quite some time. Time in which your guys have done....SQUAT! Sorry 'bout that!

These Patriots have paid their dues. They've been to the wars. Many times. They know your team better than your team knows itself.

Over the course of this past season this Patriots team has overcome the injury plague to the tune of 45 different starting lineups. A horrendous first half schedule only added to the problems. But as the injury bug died down, and a measure of stability returned to the team, so did confidence, improved performance, and wins.

This is a team that has finally jelled, and is peaking at just the right time, just like it's predecessors. This is the team no one wants to face in January.

But alas, unfortunately for you, you must.

On paper, this should be an exciting matchup. Maybe it will. But the most persistent vision accompanying such pre-game analysis is that, like so many before you, you'll become just another victim, another notch on Gunslinger Brady's holster.

I enjoy all this pre-game bluff and bluster, it adds to the entire overall experience.

But don't be too surprised when you see that those nasty guests from New England treat the Broncos with the same dismissive degree of hubris as the intrepid interlopers from Denver have sought to bring on boards they are visiting in New England.
