WASHINGTON -- Americans who turn to terrorism and plot against the U.S. are now as big a concern as international terrorists, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday.

The government is just starting to confront this reality and does not have a good handle on how to prevent someone from becoming a violent extremist, she said.

In the last year, Napolitano said, she's witnessed a movement from international extremism to domestic extremism - cases in which Americans radicalized and decided to plot attacks against the country.

She's a liberal trying to make believe Fanatical Muslim Terrorists Don' Exist.

Just part of the Love Affair with anybody that hates America, the nut that flew the plane into the IRS has now joined Timothy McVeigh as the Left Wing Liberals Poster Boys to point at every time somebody mentions The Allah Head Hunters.

Hey...his daughter (and at least 2,000 others) say he's a hero.

    (note: And I don't think they're leftists.)

The daughter of Joseph Stack, who flew a small plane into a federal building in Austin to protest the IRS on Thursday, answered "Yes" on "Good Morning America" when asked if her father was a hero, saying "now maybe people will listen."

Samantha Bell, Stack's 38-year-old daughter from his first marriage, told "Good Morning America" that her father's suicide mission was "wrong" but said she agrees with his anti-government message.

"I think too many people lay around and wait for things to happen, but if nobody comes out and speaks up on behalf of injustice then nothing will ever be accomplished," Bell said.

Stack's suicide mission has given rise to a number of supporters online, including Facebook groups like "The Philosophy of Joe Stack" which has nearly 2,000 fans; tributes on personal Web sites; and even a video game in which players have to burn down a house and fly a plane into a building. Experts are concerned his act could inspire copycats.

You cant argue with statistics here...

    Abortion doctor killers
    IRS airplane attacks
    Underwear Bomber
    Ft. Hood Shooter

Underwear and Ft Hood dudes have ties to Al aeda in Yemen.
Abortion Murderer - Right wing connections
    IRS plane guy - moron

    Thats 3-1-1

No to mention these tea-baggers who bring guns to rallies, all of the hate speech etc.

Its just not looking good for FAR right wingers who are trending towards terrorism.

I keep forgetting how many people they tried to kill....

I keep forgetting how many of them went to jail....

I keep forgetting how many of them are currently being encouraged by others outside of jail, telling them what a wonderful thing they did.

(psssst...the charges were dropped) "The Justice Department was successful in obtaining an injunction that prohibits the defendant who brandished a weapon outside a Philadelphia polling place from doing so again. Claims were dismissed against the other defendants based on a careful assessment of the facts and the law. The department is committed to the vigorous prosecution of those who intimidate, threaten or coerce anyone exercising his or her sacred right to vote."

FOXNews.com - Charges Against 'New Black Panthers' Dropped by Obama Justice Dept.

How exactly is allegidly yelling racial slurs at BOTH blacks and whites ANYTHING like murder?

so......If that is terrorism (in your book) they should lock up all you tea-bagging boys for life.

I read that dude's 'manifesto'. Going into it, I had the preconcieved notion that he was a tea-bagger, all the initial reports pointed to that in my head...attack on the IRS...complaining about being taxed etc.

but after reading what he wrote, you'd be hard pressed to pin the guy down as anything except a schizophrenic.

The one thing I think we can all agree on is that flying a plane into a building and killing people makes you a terrorist.

anti-capitalist? like the taliban? Like Al Quaeda?

If what you got from his writing was that he was only 'anti-capitalist'...then you missed a bunch of his points...the biggest one is that he hated TAXES, and the IRS.

he hated them so much that he flew a plane into the IRS building, not the congress, not the white house, not AIG, not Goldman Sachs....the IRS...

    Taxes.

Remember this thread and how select posters viewed this concern... as time goes on the "lone wolf" extremist gunman comes to the forefront..

Jaren Loughner, James Holmes and now Wade Page...

    Um, no.
You're imagining that. He was anti-IRS. End of story.

Ron Paul says that we could give every American free healthcare if we bring all the troops home and close the foreign bases. Does that make him anti-capitalist?

    Are you sure about that?

    edit:
So you think Paul is wrong, or are you just playing word games?

Yes Paul is wrong, the only thing I have seen that is free is the love and affection from friends and family.

Healthcare is currently 15% of GDP, Military spending is currently about that % of government spending, and of course if government took full control of healthcare the cost would go up even more.
