Praise Jesus help us Oh Lord...

these people are trying to turn my home town into a third world country petty zoo..
Chickens in cabinets, chickens in the yards chickens running down the streets. Next it will be pigs, pigs in the yard pigs in the apartments roasting pigs in the bath tub. Then goats.

HOLYOKE – The City Council on Tuesday opted to table a proposal to establish a new committee that would deal with issues related to changing the city charter.

Also, households here would get to keep live chickens under a proposed ordinance the City Council referred to committee in a meeting at City Hall.

My maternal grandparents are from Willimansett, just across the river.. used to spend summers there and go to Ted's Big Boy..

Interesting place, for a bunch of canadian immigrants.. they all lived together in two or three tenements.. the highlight of the day was watching the train go by.

My mother grew up in the appartment blocks on the Holyoke side of the bridge. The street just before the bridge, ive meet a few people whos parents grew up in the same section, within what would be a couple of hundred yards of each other. Small world

Theres a pond up the hill on the willimansett side, my mother has told me that her and her brothers and sisters use to walk to it to go swimming.

Why did the chicken cross the road....to get out of Holyoke before it became dinner.

I hate to break it to you, but in many parts of Holyoke people are already keeping chickens in their apartments.

They tear off the kitchen cabinet doors, install chicken wire and turn the kitchen cabinets into chicken coops.

If it makes you feel any better, most of them are on public assistance and the kitchen cabinets were probably paid for by you.

There are more than a few places in Worcester that have the fighting chickens in them.

Don't confuse chicken fights with cawk fights, which should never be confused with a cat fight.

    ...there...I said it!
