I saw this a couple of years ago I think but it's still funny
The saddest part of your post is that to some, it's truthful!
Was it deleted?
Edit. is anyone having trouble with this forum? It's acting funny. Sometimes it goes to some wrerd interface and sometimes I can't see posts only to see them return later
You didn't see the company memo regarding posting Christmas jokes? It said they may be removed depending upon any complaints.
snopes.com: Holiday Party
I think we all knew it didn't actually happen. Nor does it contain any real-life issues. Christmas parties are what they are...CHRISTMAS parties.
I work for a California and although I could not attend, was surprised that our company party is actually called a "Christmas party"!
Next thing we know, people will want to change the name of Fourth of July parties to "The celebration of all nations party"....Hell no!!
Not at my company. We are pretty diverse so we just celebrate the holidays. Our CEO, CTO, various directors, and a slew of managers and engineers are not Christian. We have a holiday party during the winter and worship the devil during summer solstice and everybody's happy. We even celebrate other holidays like Diwali, and that's pretty cool.
It's like people think Christmas is not included in the holidays, or that it's the only winter holiday. You're just being a hegemony troll, PR, and it's not even funny or clever.
By the way, are you the same PatriotReign who trolls JetsInsider? That guy is pretty funny so if you are you should show more of it over here.
Funny, but a good reminder that most people like being the wet blanket because it gives them the kind of attention they fail to get elsewhere in their insular lives.
I'm Jewish, and when someone says Merry Christmas, I just say thank you. I realize they're not trying to start the next Holocaust. I guess I only get outraged at issues that actually demand outrage. :confused2:
I would say Happy Hanukkah, but it's over now, so go **** yourself :singing:
Except this isn't happening at all. Not even a good troll, either.
I was talking about the OP, and that's why I said it was funny. Of course I realize it's a joke piece. I've seen this bit before, though I've experienced a similar, albeit less dramatic, version of this. The best jokes and urban legends have a kernel of truth to them.
I'm not sure if the troll remark was about me, but I just post in here for laughs. Hell, I strive to make my whole existence on Patsfans.com for fun really.
It's humor, lighten up. Exaggeration is a key component of a lot of humor and if it didn't imitate life at all it wouldn't make anyone laugh. It made everyone laugh here at work....a small company owned and operated by a Jewish couple who graciously held a Christmas party for us yesterday. We all got cards and were wished a Merry Christmas. We all respect each other here and acknowledge their traditional holidays throughout the year too.
I've got a pretty good sense of humor, so that's definitely not it. OP just isn't very funny and a volatile mixture with all the CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS MY GOD I HAVE A BONER FOR CHRISTMAS guys on this forum who somehow forget that Christmas is part of the holidays, but definitely not the only one.
Member posts something as funny ...
Someone throws a wrench in it ... to prove a point.
Bah Humbug lives on.
A+ for effort anyways PastsSB42
This thread reminds me those Mega Forward emails that i put on my spam folder.
Ramadan in 2010 started on Wednesday, the 11th of August and stopped , the 9th of September 2010.

When is Ramadan in 2010? - When-Is.com
and when is ramadan 2011?
Ramadan in 2011 will start on Monday, the 1st of August
Even I realize that Xmas is the reason why they call it "the holidays". Trust me, Hanukkah is a pretty minor holiday in Israel, but here it's much bigger and involves gift-giving, and "Hanukkah bushes", especially among non-Orthodox Jews. Why?
I see the OP differently, but I don't have an "anti-Xmas" agenda. I guess I just don't care.
And for those who haven't picked up on it, it's obvious a joke. Jeezus...
Amen to that. We have a Christmas tree with lights on one side of my office and a Menorah with lights ( lit during the holiday) on the other side.
Most people are glad that we acknowledge the obvious that people celebrate the Holidays and I say Merry Christmas to those who I know celebrate it, Happy Chanukah to those who celebrate it and happy holidays if I'm not sure. Some people are disappointed that their workplace is so PC that nothing is allowed.....
If I read strudel correctly, I think he's saying that in his workplace everything is allowed. Why is that a bad thing?
Thanks! and a happy whatever to you
You don't make jokes about these things with the Liberals, jokes to the liberals are only funny when they are about Southerners, Christians, Republicans, The Bush Family, The Palin Family or Jesus H Christ ect ect you know what I mean, liberals are phony's they are "Closet Laughers" when you can't laugh at yourself life is over.
When all that sh!t offends you then you are all dried up, you might as well stay home, when the words "Merry Christmas" makes you nervous or if you are all wound up and obsessed with Political Corectness what the f-ck would you want to go to a Party for, stay home and look at pictures of Elinor Roosevelt or Jimmy Carter.
Separate names with a comma.
