Some people in here "see nothing positive" about Marines. I sure am glad I am not the type who takes my freedom for granted, and I promise you my children will not take their freedoms for granted either.

I guess there's "nothing positive" in this picture:

Who? Name them. People indicates more than one, yes?

Sounds like another logical fallacy from the forum's most over-dramatic RW contributor.

If I knew who you were talking about, I wouldn't have asked. Now sack up and name who you're alluding to. Is that possible for you?

    That's comical.

We take and use our freedom, and don't take it granted anymore than you do. The problem is that in some ways we are enemies of your freedoms and you are the enemies of ours. We don't trust you on issues of civil rights and you don't trust us on issues of gun rights. We think you want to take away our freedom and you think we want to corrupt society or something like that.

I think our troops protect all of us, including the likes of me. That stands to reason. I thank the military by trusting the military; by gladly helping to pay for the troop train, pensions, socialist healthcare, etc;l and by treating them like I'd treat anyone else, not by posting photos of Iwo Jima!!! LOL

Algolagnia, commonly refers to deriving pleasure from suffering and pain.. and is common amongst those who continually feel victimized..

Good news it that it is treatable, by psychotherapy, antidepressants and mood stabilizers...

Talk about going political wolf ... why not just post that pick in the memorial thread and leave it at that. You could take 100 people and they would see 100 different things there. Those people have that right to see 100 different things because men and women have died to allow that freedom.
When we use our freedom that is the best respect and thanks we can give to our fallen heroes.

IMO you certainly do not post a memorial and tell people what to think ... that is wrong.

You know I always that was a stupid cliche. If a liberal goes around telling everyone that Marines are murderers and criminals then, while that liberal has the legal right to do such a thing, is that really "the best respect and thanks we can give to our fallen heroes"? I think not.

They are using their right to freedom of expression ... i don't think you comprehend this. I don't think you can wrap your mind around the concept of freedom. You are trying to take Patter's freedom away because it disagrees with yours - if you could do that then our heroes would have perished for less than they thought.

There are those among us today in America who are using The Constitution to "destroy" The Constitution.

Marines and all the rest of our military are the ones that give up their lives up to make sure that Constitution never gets destroyed.

Marines die to make sure that the very Americans who publicly say that they "DISLIKE THEM" will always have the freedom to Do So.

Obama must see a threat somewhere to our freedoms otherwise why is he at War killing people, why does he keep Muslims locked up down in Gitmo, why does he Drone human beings to death.

Marines fight for your right to dislike them, in the process They Die.

Comments from another Neo Con who avoided the draft, welcome to the world of Willard Romney, Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz, Limbaugh and the rest of the right wing rumpswabs who use young men and women as cannon fodder then declare how patriotic they are, because they utter a few prayers on Memorial Day...

Beat the draft, but send the boys off to war.. what a crock.
