Brady racked up some more laurels yesterday. Tied Montana for career wins (regular and post season) and did it at 34 vs. 38. And Montana's career started in the 16 game season era... Tom has the better overall winning percentage, more TD's, fewer INT's and a better career QB rating.

He also tied Manning as one of only two QB's in NFL history to pass for 350+ yards and 3 TD's with 0 INT in 8 games... And apparently he is now (thru 11 games) the fastest QB to 3600+ yards in NFL history.

Brady has been more consistent he's whole career but Brees has averaged over 4500 yards per season the last 5 years and this year is on pace for over 5000 again

The really interesting thing is that the Chargers were so disappointed with Brees after 3 years in the league that they drafted a QB with the #1 overall pick in 2004. He's gone to the Pro Bowl pretty much every year since.

Also don't forget that the Dolphins brought in Brees for a workout and interview but decided instead to trade for Daunte Culpepper. Brees then signed with his second option, the Saints. That decision was a really big turning point for both franchises.

That wasn't the first time Miami passed Brees over either. After Dan Marino retired in 1999 the Dolphins went with career backup Jay Fiedler as their QB in 2000, and he had a 14 TD/14 INT season. Miami had a chance to draft Brees the following April but instead went with DB Jamar Fletcher with the 26th overall pick.
