When's he gonna do one on Blue Dress????? Too "hot" to handle??? Maybe he's been warned??? Got an offer he "couldn't refuse"???

    All of the above???

Josh Brolin. He's James Brolin's son, isn't he?? James Brolin has been Barbra Streisand's main squeeze for decades, right? Right. I can see the script already.

Oliver Stone votes for 'Bush' project
Josh Brolin to play embattled president

    By MICHAEL FLEMING

Oliver Stone has set his sights on his next directing project, "Bush," a film focusing on the life and presidency of George W. Bush, and attached Josh Brolin to play the title role.

The director has begun quietly shopping a script by his "Wall Street" co-writer Stanley Weiser.

Pic will be produced by Moritz Borman, who teamed with Stone on "World Trade Center" and "Alexander," and Jon Kilik, a producer of "Alexander" as well as "Pinkville," the pre-strike project about the Army's investigation of the My Lai massacre in Vietnam that Stone expected to direct until United Artists pulled the plug late last year.

Borman said Weiser's script was completed before the WGA strike and was ready to shoot and that many of Stone's "Pinkville" crew jumped right into "Bush." If financing materializes quickly enough, the film could start production by April and could be in theaters for the election or the inauguration.

One need only Google the words "Stone" and "Bush" to find plenty of the director's critical comments about the Bush administration's invasion of Iraq. Despite that, the director said he's not looking to make an anti-Bush polemic. His goal is to use seminal events in Bush's life to explain how he came to power, using a structure comparable to "The Queen."

... but seriously, though: when is Oliver Stone going to do a good movie about the Clintons??? He's done Nixon; he did JFK (I think he was on acid when he did it); he's done the war in Vietnam (acid AND weed); he's setting up Geo W. Bush.

Why not the Clintons???? Not "interesting" enough!!!??? :wha:

I think he's been bought off, but, hey, maybe he's going to do one: "The Clintons: from Mt. Sinai to Hope is not so Far".

Ted Danson will play Bubba; Shirley McClane will play Hillary. Should be a rug-cutter!!

    Oliver Stoned :singing: :singing:

I wonder how he will get Viet Nam into it, how will he handle Monica and Billys cigars, maybe we will find out why Blue Dress won't let anybody see his medical records (mumps), will he mention the "Clinton Gang" stealing White House silverware, will Brolin be carrying a little bible in the church scenes lol, Brolin will have to spend a lot of time in front of a mirror practicing Billys little "cute lip bite".

They show a lot of sex in todays movies, will they show Billy having phone sex and playing with himself while Yassar Arafat is waiting on another line (lol) and of course the big one, "The Blow Job".

Oliver Stoned is going to make a Porno Movie and lovely Striesand is going to produce it and edit it.

The opening scene will be a full blown giant ERECTION :singing:

Sun Tzu... The Art of War.. supposedly 2400 years old, and one of BB's favorites.. would guess that would precede Don Corleone.

looking forward to it... Stone's work isn't great... but serves it's purpose for anyone with perspective and a brain...

regardless, if Stone gets a few more people to actually sit and absorb the sheer idiocy, arrogance, and infantile persona behind the puppet who is our "leader", then he'll have done the brain-dead MTV beachhouse generation a favor...

it's amazing how many people in day to day life just can not carry a conversation about geopolitics, or more specifically, how devious their current leaders are... i mean, how many young men actually voted for this clown in 2000 simply because it was "cool" that junior once owned a baseball team?... i know several...

Stone had nothing but praise for Castro, who has clung to authoritarian power with no elections in Cuba for half a century.

"Street demonstrations in favor of Fidel Castro are not a fake," claimed Stone. "If they were, those demonstrators should win an Oscar for best acting. I can testify to this because I have seen the joy on their faces when people come up to the president."

Stone also said: "President Bush has set the world on fire."

"In Cuba, I observed an openness and freedom that I had not found in any other country in the region, the Caribbean or Central America," Stone said. "I have met many world leaders in Panama, El Salvador, and Nicaragua, but have never seen the kind of spontaneous affection for a leader expressed on the streets as I have seen in Cuba towards Fidel."

The Oscar-winning director, who made a 2003 documentary about Cuban President Fidel Castro as well as the movie “Platoon,” called Chavez a “great man” and said “I’m a fan.”

Yeah, and if you go to North Korea, you will see people crying all over the place just to see a picture of the "Dear Leader", Kim Jong-il.

    Like they have a choice!!

North Korea, as Cuba, China, Zimbabwe, and every other communist state, controls absolutely what its citizens hear, see, and, most of all, SAY in public. You say the "wrong" thing in public (or even at home) and you find yourself either out in a "special rehabilitation center", often along with one's entire family, or you find yourself "sleeping with the fishes".

So, yeah, Stoned is a "great" one to do a movie about anything important, if you want to get the story from an Ultra Hard Left perspective.

Depends on which movie you saw first.
