Some interesting stuff:
When achieved, those incentives count toward the following season’s cap. But with no cap in 2007, they’d be added to the 2006 cap as they’re reached. That means a team could be forced to release one player midseason in order to pay another’s incentive.
Imagine that: Seymour gets his 10th sack, and you have to cut Izzo to stay under the cap. The NFL has floruished due to it's labor harmony (and a very pro-owner CBA), I can only hope they come to some sort of agreement, because nobody, except for the Colts, knows what to do.
