I know about Bo Jackson and John Elway and most recently with Eli Manning. (and Keyshawn Johnson during the later years of the show "Coach" ) What I'm curious about is has there been a player that got a call from a team to be, let's say, the 18th pick of the draft and he said no thanks?
Especially with the difference in money, I would assume players would like to go as high as they can but I've been curious here recently if a player just flat didn't want to play for a team and asked not to be taken. Does anyone know?
