Today is Ben Watson's Birthday.
You guys wanna chip in and buy him a case of Stickum?
Not really... We had spygate last year, not interested in having stickumgate this year.
Hehe, too bad, that would be the "gate" yet.
If we happen to sneak into the big dance there will be more rumours of cheating or Bill IRing every guy with a sore elbow to prove a point.
When he blows out the candles I hope he wishes for a better pair of hands. What a disappointment he is. Oh well, he's going into his contract year next year - that often produces big seasons.
I for one ain't counting on it.:snob:
Like it or not, this team misses Grahams blocking and toughness. Watson wasnt worth a 1st to me.
Tony Gonzalez would be my dream TE on this team if he leaves KC.
(Sung to the traditional birthday song)
"Happy Birthday to you"
"Happy Birthday to you"
"Happy Birthday dear Ben"
"We wish your hands were like glue"
and many more.....
I think Ben gets a bad rap. He obviously didn't live up to full billing of a first rounder but he has put up some decent numbers through the years despite a slow start to his career due to injury. I think he has enough speed to keep defenses honest and respecting the TE position and while he isn't the best blocker he is better than most expected in that area. I would love to have him resign to a decent contract.
so this week he's going to use the ball as a birthday cake?
I miss Christian Fauria and Daniel Graham - Those 2 guys knew how to play TE for the NE Patriots
I'm hard-pressed after 48 years as a Pats' fan remembering a player who has proven to be a bigger enigma. Capable of great things one moment and much-less-than-great things the next.
Tony Eason says Hi
Happy Birthday Ben, try not to drop your slice of cake when your wife puts it in your hands :explative
LOL, good one.
Maybe he ought to take a cue from Meriweather. The rap on him last year was lousy hands, so he worked out with the Juggs machine and has made some acrobatic interceptions this year.........

Lots of hate on the guys birthday.
The Patriots threw Watson a birthday party.
He dropped it.
I don't think anyone here hates Watson, or shouldn't at least. We all want him to succeed with the Pats, it's just he's been such a colossal disappointment. Never been able to harness that All-Pro talent he has.
Sorry, son, but I remember Babe Parilli...
