The funny thing is, as Curran references , if one looks at each personnel decision the Patriots have made there's really little to argue with
Givens - the Patriots chose not to overpay match an outrageously inflated offer from the Titans
McGinest - The Patriots chose not to match the Browns offer that guaranteed $6 million for an aging player
Adam V. - The Patriots chose not to match (or didn't have the chance) to make Adam V. a kicker who has had recent injury issues and who's kickoffs have been getting shorter, an offer that would have made him the highest paid kicker of all time.
Tim Dwight - The Patriots parted ways with a potential KR and 3rd or 4th wideout
When looked at individually none of these moves look all that questionable - yet people around here are acting as if the season is over in March! Amazing!
