Guns are the work of the devil, the manufacturers and dealers are enablers of crime and violence.. all need to be shut down..

I don't know why anybody would support guns, since guns are used to kill people... especially if they think they can get at problems of violent crime by banning electronic garage sales... Doesn't this seem more direct?

Don't you think a machine manufactured for the purpose of putting holes in living things is a more likely culprit in crime than an electronic bulletin board???

I thought you were talking about the city that bans handguns? No? 7 killed in 6 Chicago shootings - Chicago Tribune

Second Amendment is thwarted in Chicago and yet the death toll rises. You guys are on the lunatic fringe, not realizing that except for a handful of states like Illinois and New York and Massachusetts, there's been a revolution in the last twenty years or so.

Ignorant lefties like you won't stop it. You want to see an uprising? Follow your bliss in extirpating the Second Amendment, and guys like me who still have gonads will revolt.

If they stopped making and selling these toys of the devil, this would end also, have to stop enabling the gang bangers... change we can believe in.

Yeah, you think it's easy to drive over the state line and buy a handgun?

Think about how easy it is to set up the next Craigslist substitute. Shut it down, and you'll do a great job of shutting down commerce... and have zero effect on actual crime.

Blaming crime on guns is like blaming spelling mistakes on pencils ... It's a false argument.

This is not a stand alone discussion, view it in the context of the Craigslist comments..

The great "Elastic Man" attempt at comparisons. The "Great Escape, Part Deux".

    Change that isn't happening.

What would you prefer your son getting mixed up in? Crime or spelling mistakes?

What else are SUV's good for? Going camping? Driving offroad?

What else are needles good for? Delivering insulin to the diabetic? Drawng blood donations for those in need?

What else are wives good for? Okay, that one's too obvious. ;)

What else are guns good for? ....

What else are liberal brains good for? Keeping right-whacko's in line? :D

A spelling mistake is typical harmless and is definitely not a decision, but regardless, there's no harm done. Would you rather take your chances with someone armed with a pencil or a gun?

The "guns don't kill" argument has always been so annoyingly frivolous. People always cite that people can also kill with cars, with bats, kitchen knives, etc, etc, etc. So it's true.. it is people who kill. If these items don't exist, they would just find another tool to do the job (possibly a gun?).

But guns are made for one thing only. Killing. Yes, you can also go target shooting and have fun, and the junkie down the street can go overdose on heroin. And yet, even heroin has a purpose when used properly, but due to its dangerousness, it is controlled. And so should guns.

My shotgun, three rifles (including one scary-looking black rifle that looks like an "assault" weapon), and six handguns must be all defective. They haven't caused any crime yet.

    What's wrong?
