Patters, asked that if I could wrangle up a Good Story now and then, if I wouldn't mind posting it.
So put your politics at the door and read the Good Story of the Day. This was on the Pentagon Channel last week, and it happened in some of your own back yards.

Homes for Our Troops purchased a 2 acre parcel of land in Middleboro, MA for wounded Army National Guard member Sgt. Peter Damon. We then coordinated the entire project start to finish to build this wonderful specially adapted home for Peter and his young family.
After completing all the engineering designs, septic plans, order of conditions with the conservation commission, architectural designs for the home, and building permit process in late 2004, we began working with the New England Regional Council of Carpenters. Our friends from the council include Jim Burba, Tim Tudor who did the home plans and Kirt Fordyce who retired as a Senior Business Agent and supervised the project. The process involved using this home as a tool to train the apprentices on all aspects of home design and construction.
