Many of you have probably already seen this, but definitely worth the read.

Gronk the Great helps power the Patriots - The Boston Globe

    One interesting quote:

I'll leave it to you to read the article to find out what they are, but I'll simply say this: both of them are from after he declared for the 2010 draft.

Hope he stays healthy, by the time this is all said and done, he will be a permanent revered fixture in New England Sports Lore..

Actually, that doesn't seem to be true.

According to NFL.com, the Cleveland Browns scored 21 touchdowns, while GRONK only had 18.

However, GRONK's 17 receiving TD's and rushing TD are enough to give him:
    • as many TD's as the entire Rams squad—offense, defense, and special teams; and
    • 26th place among NFL teams in receiving TD's, were he to be counted as a team of his own. :D

Another fun fact: Ghost and GRONK's 251 combined points gives them more production than the entirety of the Colts, Jaguars, Browns, Chiefs, or Rams.

The guy who is his marketer, Cleon Daskalakis, is better known as a hockey player.

As a Bostonian in exile, this bit does my heart good. I can hear it in my head from Lenny Clahhhhhk

“You scored three touchdowns!’’ Clarke hollered at Gronkowski. “Yuhra stahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! They’ll give you the coat for free!’’

I love this line, so appropriate for Gronk! LOL.

At Arizona, they called him Drago after his doppelganger, Ivan Drago, the Soviet fighter in “Rocky IV’’ whose trainer said, “Whatever he hits, he destroys.’’

Long live Gronk! The Gronk era is here!
