Hi everyone!
Singaporepatsfan here, long-time reader, first-time poster. Hope everyone is having a great time at the end of the year.
I just wanted to know how glad I am that the Pats are in the play-offs. Even though it was highly improbable that they miss out this year, visions of 2003 and the last game of the season kept dancing in my head, especially after the loss to Miami.
I also wanted to let you know how lucky you guys are in being able to follow the greatest team on earth over in the US. When I came back to Singapore, I found that the cable company here cancelled the NFL package and the only game I can catch is MNF on ESPN, not the easiest thing since it's shown at 9am in the morning here. As for the Sunday games, I usually have to follow them on gamecast at 2am on Mondays, reading the plays and letting my imagination work.
As for the playoff opponents, we really need to play Denver so we can just beat them and get the monkey off our backs. IMHO, Indy is a little more relaxed about playing the pats because they have beaten them twice in a row and they can forget about the previous string of defeats. If we kick the crap out of Denver, future games against the broncos will come a lot easier.
cheers
