the green bay packers have only kept 4 wides on their roster, and are said to be looking to add one. branch would be a good fit there and they have the cap room to sign him.

If they had Driver, the WR you are referring to and Jennings that would be a nice threesome.

What good would Branch be on the Packers without a QB that can get him the ball.

Note to Brett Favre - You said before this may be the most talented Packer team you've ever been on and then are at a loss that they have been so bad this pre-season....did you consider the QB position as being the possible problem?

what do we care? as long as we get a 1st & mid round pick for the little guy

The Packers got a 2nd for Javon Walker.

The Packers GM would be lynched if he gave up a 1st for a smurf WR.

Me, I would be all for going after Branch, but in Green Bay the prejudice against small players is basically at the "go to the back of the bus" level.

good, send him to GB to rot. I'd accept a lower draft choice to make that happen.

Extract a 2007 second round draft pick from the Green Bay Packers for Deion Branch which will be, in essence, a late first round draft pick. The Green Bay Packers will be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, especially with Brett Favre's propensity for throwing interceptions late in his career.

29 is not huge number of interceptions.

It's just sort of moderately huge.

For a rookie quarterback, twenty-nine interceptions is not a huge number. For a Hall-of-Fame quarterback, it's a freakin' disaster!

Stop with the 2nd round comparisons to Branch's value.

Walker-Traded from the IR with a major knee injury(Branch is healthy)
Culpepper-Traded from the IR with a major knee injury(Branch is healthy)
Stallworth-Conditional 3rd or 4th plus a Linebacker.

These are the 3 that Chayut is using for comparisons for his client(Branch).

Both Culpepper and Walker would be worth a 1st rounder plus some,if they were healthy.

Stallworth was the #2 receiver on his team(Horn)

(Beioli will make one more offer then cut bait).
