From ESPN.com: "Belichick plans to lay waste to the NFL. Commissioner Roger Goodell took away a first-rounder, so the Patriots will take away your firstborn."

    AWESOME!

I thought this line was better, from the same ESPN.com article:

"It's just something the coaching staff wants to do," wide receiver Donte' Stallworth said. "We're behind them for whatever they want to do. Whatever play they call, we are going to run it.

"We've been attacked since the start of the season, so we don't care. Whatever is going on out there, we just go out and play and try to execute what we are doing."

I just hate clayton though. I wish that he would get stung by a bunch of bees at the same time. I mean, a bunch of bees.

But yea, the layin waste thing is kinda cool.

    Light-Mankins-Koppen-Neal-Kaczur. The best ever.

The Pats need a name. I think Simmons was on to something last week. Let's call them the Eff 'Em Pats.

    #61 Jersey

Rich Eisen at NFLN referred to the Patriots on Sunday continuing their "scorched earth policy." I thought that was kind of funny.

    #12 Jersey

I will be giggling the rest of the day about this. However, Clayton's rather swollen noggin sometimes already looks like it has been attacked by a bunch of bees.

A real bunch of ****in' bees.

Would you trade this line for John Hannah-Leon Gray-Bill Lenkaitis-Shelby Jordan-Pete Brock-Sam Adams?

You know, as much as I love our current guys, I think I would.

That's a little before my time, and I know, individually, those guys are probably better, but the wall that the current guys create is pretty remarkable.

    Disable Jersey

Sorry, but those guys were WAY too small for today's NFL. BB rates Koppen as the best OC he's ever coached. I remember those guys well but that was a generation ago. Folks really are bigger and faster now.

HD has been unkind to many sport reporters, but none more so than Clayton. It looks like a dog chewed off his face and scientists tried to re-attach it.
